  1. What color for the Pro 4 Hub? Black rims or white ones?
  2. As usual. Only crazy stuff in there:
  3. I was wondering if I should ride rear brake only for a while... Very nice bike.
  4. So happy with my 4play 2012. Thanks to @Dman's videos I got myself one and am super stoked. Rides so well compared to my stock and on the three rides I did so far, I have had more fun than in the last year together. Just need a Hope hub on the rear because the trialtech freewheel isn't very confidence inspiring and also makes funny noises.
  5. Which one? How does he run it? Like in the picture? Is it the Shorty version?
  6. What do you recon? Would it be possible to mount this tensioner on my 4play 2012? I currently run the Trialtech tensioner but the tension isn't quite how I like it. I would like to run the Rohloff like in this picture but I'm not sure if the spring is strong enough to withstand it mounted this way. On the other hand, from what I can see the tensioner arm is just shorter, the rest seems to be the same. I am also not sure if the chain length defines how the Rohloff is set up.
  7. Can't remember. Was enough. I think tire clearance is only an issue for the height not the width of the tire.
  8. This guy has a 2.7 one. Dunno if it'll fit though. For the other refer to the above post.
  9. Deep like in "stronger"? These tires are originally designed for street trials use i.e. higher pressures. They are for pure trials like the High Rollers for street trials: the best option out of no real fitting one. If you don't care about the weight, try to get some High Roller Super Tacky or Swampthing Super Tacky. They are pretty good tires even though they weigh around 300-400gr. more than the conti. Edit: The High Roller ST isn't too expensive on this site and they seem to have it in stock.
  10. I found that at the same tire pressure they are harder than the holy rollers. This is probably due to the sturdier side walls.
  11. Tried to to a 180° bunny hop but I guess a 90° will have to do for now. I am still surprised how natural everything feels on this bike.
  12. Not on all Echo frames apparently. I didn't have any issues with clearance. Echo¹ by niconj, auf Flickr
  13. Clearance on an Echo isn't an issue, at least not for @Ross McArthur. When I rode them on my Echo I didn't have any complaints but then again, I was even worse back then than I am now. The BCC is something nice to have though. More so than some side knobs I think. I only had one puncture even though I don't know at what pressure. At the end of this video. I didn't really hit it hard but I remember the stone being very sharp on the edges.
  14. Got some tires from Tarty today and modified my rear brake as I don't like the lever feel of the MT5. It's now a Shigura brake. SLX665 lever with a MT5/7 caliper. I'm still waiting for the matching left lever I bought for almost nothing new on ebay and I will put the hose through the forks. I also have a Saint 810 lever but I'll still have to find the matching left lever. They are pretty rare nowadays. The SLX, apart from the lacking free stroke adjustment, is almost same though. The lever blade is a bit different. I will spray the bars white in due time and get myself a hope hub on the rear. The Trialtech freewheel isn't really confidence inspiring. 15. Lol. I think I couldn't ride in jeans or do you wear some special pants?
  16. Yeah. I though somewhere along these lines. Currently 75cm.
  17. I'm still getting used to the new bike. This is the second time I ride it and I am actually a bit surprised that bunny hops are that easy on it. The last wall is 75cm high and even though I could easily pedal up there with my stock, I am very happy to be able to bunny hop it as well. With a bit more speed and less fear I could probably jump even higher.
  18. Now being in the situation to have a 26'' pogo stick and an Inspired Fourplay, how long does it take to adjust to the bike? I can imagine having ridden the 24'' street, going back to the stock will be difficult or will at least take adjustment on each ride.
  19. With these tires it should be around 8.8kg.
  20. I don't like the look of the stem. A new Echo TR 150x30 would fit perfectly. Also the silver spacer... other than that, it's a nice looking bike.
  21. Just invite Flipp over and you can ride his bike for a while.
  22. Hopefully there will be any in a short time. With the upcoming exams and stuff I'll barely have time to ride.
  23. Get one out of your shed.
