As I said. Nothing special really. This is the result of the first proper ride with this bike. I f**king love it. Even just cruising around the skate park is more fun than the TGS I attempted to do these past months. I have to admit though that sidehops and gaps are horrible in comparison to my Rockman. I am still getting my bunny hops back. This is why I didn't go to a higher wall. I want to get the technique dialed first. I can probably jump to rear twice the height of the bunny hop onto the wall (which isn't really high anyways :D). Manuals are kinda weird as I keep falling backwards and have to pull the brake. Problem is that the MT5 with Trialtech pads is so strong that between slightly slowing down during a manual and blocking the rear wheel is just 1mm lever pull. I also have to get another rotor for the front. The Trialzone isn't really good for this brake. The Avid CS2 on the rear works rather well.

The fourplay has a +20mm mount on the rear?
-
Won't work properly. Hashtagg has a 14mm piston the Magura Mt levers 10mm.
-
I'll put some 810 or 665 levers on there as soon as possible. The Magura ones are horrible.
-
Thanks. So I will go on holding onto the lever. I rode the 4play yesterday and as it doesn't have a front brake yet, it was kinda weird not having one finger out, weird in a good way though. I really like the front wheel spinning fast after a bunny hop. If I have a front brake, its closed as soon as the front wheel leaves the ground.

Cool. Thanks. I think mine are almost at this angle. Another question I have. I see Ali riding without his finger on the brake lever (at least for the front). Is it even possible to do a run up jump and then in mid air put the finger on the lever for the up to front?
-
Just wondering since this is my first street trial bike. Is the bar angle alright?
-
How come? Many MTB riders swapped the MT5/7 levers with Shimano 810/820 levers and couldn't be happier. @Martin Direske did this as well.

Will do in due time. Video is nothing to be very anxious about. I am still a shit rider.

Same as in same bike or same bunny hop easiness?

Got it so cheap I cannot believe it's true. The guy bought it three years ago and rode it for like 5 times. There's not even a scratch. Somehow he managed to break the front brake but as I'm going to ride the MT5s anyways, I don't care. Unfortunately I couldn't get the bars in a different color for the price I paid (half of the Arcades) but I don't really care. I took it on a short ride today and was impressed on how easy bunny hops are even after not having done them for three years. Not that I can jump very high (50cm to rear). I tried to manual as well and I think I will be able to do this consistently by the end of this year. IMG_20161007_182030 by niconj, auf Flickr IMG_20161007_182040 by niconj, auf Flickr

I cannot really pinpoint why, personal preference I guess. The only thing I'd complain about the helmet thing is that if you throw a white helmet to someone, he cannot catch a black one.
-
For me it was quite the contrary. Loved the riding of the second guy. The last guy well...

I won't even be riding the Truvativ and mount the Bonz right away. I won't be able to tell whether the Bonz are on par with the Arcades...
-
A new 1finger lever is available. Pretty expensive though.
-
That seems to be the consensus of this forum but the Bonz might be up there as well. I just ordered them for about half the price of the arcades. As I don't have any real comparison I probably cannot say whether they are any better or worse than the Truvativ Holzfeller the bike comes with.
-
Pretty difficult for rims though if you don't have the tools.

1kg I got it of Amazon. Natriumhydroxid, dunno what it is called in English other than caustic soda. If you need a rear tyre, I've got a Schwalbe Fat Albert in 24'' I'm willing to part with.
-
Lol, I copy pasted it. Here are the numbers from trial-bikes. Dimensions - Length: 720mm - Upsweep: 5º - Backsweep: 9º - Total rise: 95mm

Had a quick look. In theory 7075 should be the more durable material.

Bonz claims 375. The Photoshop might be incorrect. I don't know whether the pictures from above are taken from the very front. The Bonz should be lower in my photoshop.
-
I tried my photoshop skills. Arcade in red. Looking at the picture it shouldn't make much of a difference geometry wise. The Bonz is a bit steeper where the grips go but it seems to be only by a margin. I don't grip on the very outside of the bars either. The further in, the less the difference is noticeable, but this is just theory.

I was looking into bars and the Arcade seem to be the choice for 24'' street bikes. I came around the Bonz Prolight and it seems to have almost the identical measurements. Would it be a good choice to buy it? It's cheaper than the Arcade which seems to be a bit overpriced in my opinion. The difference is 1° more Upsweep, 10mm less rise and 20mm less width. What do you recon? What about the difference in the material? Arcade 7050-T6: Geometry: - Upsweep: 4° - Backsweep: 9° - Total rise: 102mm - Width: 730mm (28.35") Bonz 7075-T6 Geometry: - Upsweep: 5° - Backsweep: 9° - Total rise: 90mm - Width: 710mm (28.35")
