  1. Pretty simple. Get some caustic soda, put a lot of it into a bowl with warm water and hold your rims in there for a couple of seconds. Wash it off with a cloth and clean water. Repeat if necessary. Don't let it in there too long or you won't have a rim anymore. Don't let it get into your bearings either. 2. So where's the cnc lever @Ali C has been talking about? I ordered some MT5s (with Trialtech pads) to go with my Fourplay but might swap the levers with some Saint or SLX (810/665) ones if the feel is as bad as described here.
  3. OK cool. I got myself some MT5s with Trialtech pads that should do the trick as well. I think for James' skills brakes aren't really a limiting factor though.
  4. So cool. Especially the brakes. Seems that the BB7 are still up there with the Saints, Maguras and whatnot.
  5. I get what you mean and even though it doesn't show in the video, this is what I tried to do.
  6. Your videos are the reason for my recent purchase.
  7. Problem is though, that I am afraid of doing it off higher heights without knowing how to do it. This is always a great problem for me when trying new moves.
  8. Yeah. It is a lush looking bike. I'd sell my recently built Rockman for it and put some more cash to it.
  9. Fresh tires? They don't look too used.
  10. Will try that the next time. Probably a lot harder.
  11. Are the levers still intact? How's your shin?
  12. I did. What I found out is that the move is more in the hips rather than really lifting the rear wheel. I think it's only a matter of days until I master it. I know for you guys it's the easiest in the world but for me it's pure motivation after having a long draught. The wall in the video is slightly higher and I tried to make the move faster.
  13. Exactly. I don't land forwards I land backwards and the momentum of the turn goes to the back resulting in falling over when pulling the rear brake. Just imagine landing in a 90° angle to the wall with the front facing the wall, you have to pedal backwards because you push yourself from the wall onto the rear wheel.
  14. Gosh... why didn't I see it earlier. Thanks so much. No wonder there is lack of equilibrium.
  15. Because, like in the video, the momentum carries me to the back and when I pull the rear brake, I fall over. If I pedal backwards, it takes the front wheel down. This, as I understand, isn't necessary anymore once I turn fully.
  16. When I try to pedal backwards, my front wheel lowers; when I have the rear wheel locked, it takes me further back but then again, I don't land in the direction I want to go. If I turn all the way, keeping the rear wheel locked might actually put my front wheel down as well. p.s.: Isn't it cool to do them anymore?
  17. I did this off a higher wall and almost fell on my back because the brake was locked. When it's done perfectly, is the brake locked or not?
  18. Thanks. This is still pretty hard to do. I have to practice it on the flat then. Once I can do this, doing it off the wall do I have to pull the rear brake when landing or do I have enough momentum to just roll off forwards? I'm surprised that the bike won't make any difference with mine having a pretty long wheelbase and all.
  19. I was kinda bored by the TGS riding I have been doing over the last months and wanted to include some street riding moves into my practice sessions. In the video you can see the result of two days hard practice. I don't know how the move is called. I wanted to turn further to be able to drive away in a 90° angle to the wall after the spin. Any suggestions as to how to do it? I need to spin further I think but when landing, do I have to pedal backwards or pull the rear brake and pedal... Sorry for the gibberish. I really don't know how to put it into words but I think you get what I mean. p.s.: Are these spinning moves easier with a 24'' street bike than with a long pogo stick?

What's on the net and worth seeing you can find here. Don't wait for next year please. If the things in the video are the things you do when you had a bad year, I wanna see a good year. How high is the last wall in the clip?
