Not the really bad ones like in BMX videos but all I see of Ali and Danny for example are the edited videos. I really enjoy the outtakes Danny has published as it shows how hard it really is or the long way to finally stand a trick. Nothing weird for me I think.
In my blog I have some crashes as well and am happy to have captured them on video.
I was really anxious to see this footage when you said that it happened but it never showed in the video. Very disappointing. Not that I want to see you hurt yourself but like in your second or first vid, it gives more of an insight than just the made stunts.
Another huge plus was that Danny had a small part in it. I think in the none-trials world, he's a bit more famous which might be appealing for others outside of this forum (or sport).
And some reputation? You've got it already but may it be possible to make some more money of it if those videos get a million views? Has happened with so many people on youtube.
Took me quite a while to get up 1m. I tried it earlier but then left it because it just felt so unnatural. Then, about half a year ago, I really started practicing it. Have made some progress already but I'm not at all satisfied.
Don't forget. It takes a lot of time to get higher but there are certain days where you get better at an instant because you accidentally do something right. I had this a while ago when I suddenly jumped a pallet higher on my side hops.
And yes, take videos of yourself and ask as many questions as you like. There are tons of cool lads on here willing to help you.
Yeah. Looks really nice. From personal experience I would recommend the Echo CNC stem. I had the Rockman as well and when changing to the Echo there was a huge improvement of the front-end stiffness.
This doesn't look too far off. As Mark said. During the first couple of rides you will need to tighten the cranks again and again and then they should fit nicely with a better chain line.
What's the best? I can't quite understand it.
Why would you be cringing when watching the first one? It's pretty much like the second one only a different location.
Very cool! Also the insight on how you started with street trials. You may add some of your older comp videos just for information purposes.
Just wondering. Have you ever tried going up the rock from the small bank that is on the side. A sort of gap to hook thingy...
