  1. Could try a 24''...
  2. You look so tiny on that bike.

    Mind the gap

Ok. So I was able to tighten my cranks on every ride but still have a gap there. I just hope that I can get off the cranks when it comes to changing the freewheel.
  4. Even though I don't like too many colored parts on my bikes, this will be interesting to see and I'm really looking forward to it. wilf: Have you ordered the frame already?
  5. I know him. He's my mother in law. Won't have any problems with him though.
  6. No offense taken. I know that my rig is much better than my riding. Currently I'm doing only street TGS (with some rocky sections as well) which is, I suppose, exactly what the conti is made for. What I'm mostly concerned about is the wet performance of my tyre as I don't care about the wheather and will be riding in the rain as well. Btw.... isn't the super tacky a 45a compound? Oh and wasn't it you who told me to put a conti on my Echo Dual Disc? I hate you for that because I'm actually considering buying that tyre. edit: The Conti weighs 400gr. less than a High Roller ST which is quite a difference...
  7. Has anyone else made experiences with this tyre on a TGS bike? What about wet rock sections? How would (do) they compare to Maxxis Super Tacky tyres? I don't know if you need nobs on a tyre to make it a good one for natural riding.
  8. You've already got an answer!!! Why open another thread?
  9. As I wrote. I'll put an SLX lever on the front and I don't want RT86s as I have made bad experiences with spidered ones and Martin Direske also found them to develop play over the time. I'll stick with the RT66s.
  10. I didn't really like the color of your stem but I don't doubt that your bike will be stellar!
  11. Three years of riding only????
  12. Your wish is my command. Front lever will be an SLX one as well as it fits the color of the frame nicely. I will also put another rotor on the front as the rear brake works a charm and I think the rotor has sth. do do with it. Other than that I'm not gonna get the Conti... not gonna get it... not.... 13. Cool. I beat you though. Have been riding the first time with mine today. Saint 810 with EBC Redstuff pads and RT66 are awesome.
  14. Have finished the rear wheel and put everything together. I had to put shims between the brake caliper and the adapter as in the current wheel position the disc was scraping the caliper. I only rode up and down the street and did some BWHs and even w/o bedding in the EBC Red pads the brake works like a charm. Can't wait to really bed it in and test it.
  15. Today, I have laced the wheel and while putting my weight on it (the thing you do when fine truing your wheel. How is it called?) it was surprisingly strong. I thought it was gonna be as "weak" as on the front but it isn't.
  16. Alex is probably gonna get his Echo frames the same time as Tarty does.
  17. It's a pity that many of the real good frames use snail cams!
  18. Me knows. Tomorrow the parts for the rear wheel will be here and I've already got the brake. The lever color matches that of the frame 100% which makes me think about switching from the Saint to the SLX on the left as well.
  19. Yeah. I can jump over a pancake as well. That doesn't make it cool though.
  20. You can get my "old" one. It's a 24'' as well but w/o a disc mount.
  21. Was he injured? I read that it hurt a lot when he fell down.
  22. Aren't outtakes supposed to be bloopers and stuff? I'd really see that first slide fail.
