  2. Why not keep them red and white. Looks better than green and they will not be mistaken for TNN LGMs.
  3. Yeah. It's bulging out already with a Schwalbe Nr.10 tube.
  4. I'm not worrying just wondering. I don't really think it depends on the size of the inner tube as I'v tried a 20'' and a 26'' one just to see. I think it has to do with the rim design as there is a small inner trench (how do you call this?) and the tube rests on the outer edge on either side. I think a more flexible tube (latex for example) would bulge into the rim more. What's this forum for then if not for questions?
  5. I wasn't expecting it to bulge out much but it doesn't even touch the rim tape. If I push it inside there's like 5mm or more space between the tape and the inner tube.
  6. Hello, I've just build a 24'' front wheel with a Trialtech SL rim and was a little surprised that the inner tube, when pumped up to about 2bar (2.1 tyre), doesn't even touch the rim tape. Is that normal? Thanks, Nico.
  7. Did you just use a grinder and a 1mm cutting disc to single wall it? How about strength? I suppose the rim will lose a lot of its stiffness when single walled.
  8. Would this be recommendable for a 24'' wheel as well?
  9. I'll probably save some money and get some Trialtech SLs (on Tarty they say that they are stronger than the other Trialtechs). What I really like is that the steerer tube isn't anodized so there won't be any clicking noise like with my Echo Urbans.
  10. Exactly what I said and many many downhill riders have experienced. Organic pads aren't for downhill rides.
  11. Just cut the crown race with a hacksaw like many other manufacturers do (+ file the sharp edges). Has always worked for me (and many others I know). No need for a hammer or anything like this.
  12. Just saying. I'm not a very smooth rider plus on the heavy side.
  13. I was considering the TT SLs as they were tested for a long time but since the last product recall (for the HS33 version) I'm a bit sceptical.
  14. Has anyone heard about those forks or ridden them for that matter? I'm about to buy new forks and am stuck between the new Echo SL and the Kabra Disc ones. Any help would be appreciated.
  15. I found it to be quite the contrary.
  16. Why would these be any better than other pads? The finns are for heat transfer and nothing else. The Deore come with resin pads which (for trials use) are much better than any sintered Shimano has to offer (finned or not).
  17. I don't think that this color fits the stem. You should get rid of the try all decals.
  18. I had a creaking front end and after sanding down the anodization of my Echo forks got rid of it.
  19. Ok. Today I went out riding again and the rear wheel moved even with the Trialtech Cam and the serrated washers. Have you found those onza steel caps at tartys?
  20. I've got a 24'' but don't know shit.
  21. Lol. The guy at 4:11 is less stable on his feet than you on your bike. Absolutely love it and good choice of music btw.
  22. And I was disappointed as I switched to an Echo TR FFW. I thought it would be louder still but even after bedding in (which supposedly isn't necessary for Echo FFWs) it was very quiet in comparison.
  23. Well, what does "Individually hand made to ensure the best quality products" mean?
