Ah cheers, been searching images all day! I'm 6'4".... Anyone think a trials specific will be a decent fit? Option of this or an identiti judge...
-
Just stumbled across this post whilst looking for a Judge trials build...I wanted to see what the bike looked like and to see what people's thoughts were. Did you ride it? How was it?
-
Hey all, Anyone know what frame this is? I'm told it's a 26" wheel Onza....it has a cut out on the head tube and vertical dropout with replaceable mech hanger. The guy selling doesn't know anything else but i have a sneaky suspicion its a 24" wheel Cheers

Now for sale as I don't ever use it lol £100ish for the whole lot or I'll split, just ask in my for sale thread (which I'm just about to make). Oli

I'm game for that! How does it stay put? Just winding it round the hub won't make it stay where you need it.... Oh I see it now lol
-
I have no idea how to fix bearings or make a tensioner...any help? And why a shorter stem? What benefit will I get? Ha! Well the bars, forks and cranks are the same colour...and they're the same rims front and back! Weird anodised green fetish though...love it

Its finally built and I've been for a spin! There's no pics of me riding....and to be fair I learned a bit in just 10minutes... 1. I have lost the ability to do anything other than pedal 2. My rear wheel wobbles like jelly....bearings? 3. V-brakes aren't great 4. I can't seem to get my chain the right length despite trying both 16t and 18t rears with a full link chain and with a half link inserted. Bah. I also learnt that I love how shitty it looks. And that I don't care about it.

brake cable and half link orded from ebay for the total of £6. looking forward to getting these on and actually riding it for a bit!
-
I'm gonna see how it rides before I spend any cash on bits like that, I don't have the b duet, even for postage!!! Lol I did get some cranks from eBay though. Plan was to get a good setup for the Kona and run the raceface on this, but it was cheaper to get this onza setup. £35 and its a full crank ring and bash. Now I need a rear brake cable and a half link to get the chain tension right..... Eventually I will ride!

i didn't realise until the past few updates that you actually rode trials before, i thought you were a total newb like me! it's good that you have some skill already, you just need to get used to the feel and how it responds. in contrast to you, i rode a mates BMX the other week and nearly hurt myself hopping a curb, those small wheels and high bars make the front flip up too quick!

wow a shout out! honoured
-
may well have them ross, but i want to give this a ride first and see how it is. i'm almost a complete beginner, not having even bunnyhopped for about 10 years + ! if i'm honest the whole thing needs to be better with better parts, i'd change all of it if i could lol so i'd be happy to grab a stem, some bars, disc brakes, better frame, new headset, nice wheels blah blah lol

i like this - how does it bolt up with the hub/frame? pic from above maybe?
-
i'll b on 22-18.....will post videos of how bad it is and now i can blame it all on ratios

I feel your pain at being caught, as i'd bet the vast majority of people speed at some point, and i reckon the 70 zones are the worst for it. but, as others have said, you were caught a year ago; more fool you. good luck with it all as potentially you could be in for 6 points, totalling 9 on your license. my tip is to buy a car not capable of gathering any speed.....

Needs to be shorter right?
-
WHOOP new forks on damn its heavy up front! New forks meant that I even managed to get a spacer in lol Got some onza cranks coming, only cheapo ones but good enough for a beginner. So brake for the rear and I'm done! So close I can taste the brick in my face after I stack my first 1 foot wall lol

Might be useful, so are the mk2's 27.2 for def?
-
Anyone know if this is the right size for a mk2 zebdi? Can find anything on Google and when this reply was added I don't think I'd identified as a mk2?
-
Yes!! Made sure this time! Is 192mm to be exact, a full 12mm longer so will sit about 4mm below the stem top. I can deal with that!
-
Lol its the pic of the little man with buttcheeks that makes me chuckle. £35 delivered, a few minor scratches though.
-
Looking forward to getting these bad boys on!!!
-
not bad for shed finds and cheap stuff lol
-
Hmm OK I'll have a look about. The xc will probably be better than my LX on the Kona anyways so might be worth a punt.

Hahaha its offensive AND true!
