  1. The thing is, all of the BIG group rides recently in the last couple years were organised on Facebook, the only problem with that being that not everyone can see it. On the point about Instagram, I use it and love it, it proves to me that trials isn’t dead, so much young talent that gets me amped to ride all the time. What I’ve found is, just not in the UK! Competitions, sure, but the TGS/ street/ casual riding that used to be the norm has all but gone, bar a few exceptions we all know and love. but in places like Spain/japan/China its bigger than ever. Also I’m really jealous of the Vancouver riders, looks like a great scene, great spots, great riding. Just my pennies anyway
  2. I always like to remind myself that a lot of s today’s street riders were also really f-in good on a seatless machine. Love this video.
  3. Considering the processes, materials and the specialist nature of the thing, that doesn’t surprise me.. from what I gather, they won’t be making any more? (For the public, at least)
  4. Interesting. Would be interested to know the weight. I’d assume quite heavy for strength, but who knows? Also go to their website to look at the construction of it, it’s pretty interesting
  5. Cool. I do like a good hook, and this video had plenty on display... that last one had some intense tuckage on it. How serious is that famous gap to the fountain?
  6. the thing that intrigues me most about this is actually those rims. 2 valve holes, no crown or h profile, they look 2 dimensional
  7. Darlings wasn’t used an as opener??? What can you even use instead? If it was insects, the order has been usurped entirely..
  8. @bikeperson45 i went to the Susanne concert the other week, my god. ive never been such a little fangirl in my entire life, we stole some reserved seats that no one showed up for, she played a a few songs from the brothel, silicone veil and ten love songs too, i definitely cried when she did. also brought a really expensive scottish whiskey and snuck it in with me. just listen to this, i recorded the whole thing (poorly, iphone against a wine glass) but this is just... incredible.
  9. took this in Geneva the other week, happy thread because Geneva was incredible, at least the halo suits the formula e's
  10. just quoting him so he gets a notification. on such topic, you have any riding plans this weekend? its been a while.
  11. just adjust the non drive side cam till the wheel is straight, its not too much of a problem, wheel is 3cross both sides and looks alright.
  12. the chains tight spot is in the freewheel, they all have them, check your chainline, that can sometimes make it worse. as for wheel being central with the cams thats not necessarily the case, spacing/washers/cam type/position/odd cams/ inside outside dropouts/ bent frame/ dished wheel/ etc can all make a difference, a picture of your setup would be helpful.
  13. good. the second hand market is cheap these days, youd be able to get a pretty top spec bike for that sort of money.
  14. i think i can speak for a lot of people when i say i had an onza at one point i had a 4 onza limeys, loved them. a lot of 20" onzas can be a realy bad spec though, look for hydraulic brakes etc or post them in this thread if you arent sure. advice wise, start off with basic balance moves first, it will help in the long run. im based in coventry
  15. hey man, im in the west midlands, where abouts are you? first thing you need to decide is which wheel size to go for, 20, 24, 26. 20s are good to start on as theyre nice nd bouncy and twitchy, teach you a lot of things. would suit your height too.
  16. got any pictures of it?
  17. cheers man, my sidehops have completely wandered off though... any tips?
  18. Front disc you can modulate more, with a front magura it’s just on-and-Off, with a disc you can drag it which means things like stoppies and different sorts of manoeuvring become available. Smoother too. Downsides are it’s marginally heavier, you have a disc that can be hit and bent on rocks, and it’s not as direct feeling as a magura which locks the rim, whereas disc locks the hub so you get some flex. All these are tiny niggles though, go for disc, it’s f*king sick. Also the kloud is a better frame, I don’t know the bike specs but the kloud is stronger and better built.
  19. @ben_travis I now understand what you said to me about power and speed. Second ride on the inspired!
  20. the kloud is a great bike. not too extreme in either direction. nice and neutral.
