  1. I've just been rubbing it on dry, it scrapes and cracks but seems to work- when i heated it it didn't stay melted long enough to be applied properly, but I'm aware i may be doing something wrong. Like i said, it seems to work but it feels like I'm doing it wrong. Cheers
  2. i like the build, looks clean. just my opinion of course, but i really don't like those frames. just one random curved toptube, if it was straight i reckon it would look beaut. im not a "if the tubes arent straight i hate it" guy, (seeing as ive had 5 limeys..) but the curve doesn't flow into anything. sorry for the mini rant, always been on my mind
  3. I'd convert it back to a single speed, with the correct 26 ratio (which is usually 18:15, with a 22t sprocket I think it's 18t on the back? Someone correct me) grind works better in all conditions, if it's dry you could get some tar on there. Check the pads, they might be super dirty. I'd start with the basics for trials. I'd say focus on getting up small objects- rolling first, then static, using different techniques. Trashzen.com will teach you everything! I started with just back hops and pedal kicks and realised I couldn't get up anything, haha. If you keep at it it'll all come and you'll get really good.
  4. compared to most people on here i haven't been doing this that long, but id have my first bike back and put better parts on it, purely to see what it would be like/ nostalgia
  5. Theres something about that orange that grabs me. It also looks like something you'd ride into war
  6. i wouldnt expect it to with that chain tension edit: thats not the aorta
  7. been lost in a stream of old videos, and i keep seeing bikes which look full of character (leeson pogo stick stock with what looks like scaffolding between the tubes, for example) want to hear about ye olde bi-cycles!
  8. all f**king day. on the first brick post to brick post, im still surprised when he actually does it. i didn't even consider it as a gap.
  9. Just thought I'd chime in and say that though I don't own a car, I read this every day as what you guys get up to is great.
  10. Golden, butter, lots of Marmite, then Marmite crisps for some extra crunch. Tasty
  11. because like 4 people would buy it haha.
  12. That is the other hub that Alex machined like mine. It's a proper job.
  13. it was reasonable. especially for the amount of work done. there were a few niggles i had to fix, but they were very very minor and it was alex's first time doing the 80ep hub. as far as im aware, josh leech did flipps rear pro4 in his.
  14. that may give a slightly better look at it..
  15. its a 116mm spaced frame, with a custom 110mm pro2 evo ss! (plus cams/ disc spacing) machined axle, bearings relocated, freehub machined down and threaded for an external lockring, disc tabs and end caps appropriately modified/machined. which means theres absolutely zero dish all done by alex.
  16. it would have to have a drastic redesign or a foot long seatpost the picture may be deceiving, but where the seattube is in comparison to the tyre is literally nothing. nowhere near enough space for a seat unless you had a stupid seatpost or the frame was deigned more bmx-y. which i guess is why the arcade exists
