  1. I'm pretty crud, could I join in?
  2. I'm about to buy a new piece, l upload some pictures tomorrow...
  3. My JavaScript was off, cue me trying to quote this for the past ten minutes with no luck! I prefer the second tessot- carbon weave always looks out of place to me. Still a nice piece though.
  4. very nice. i was also thinking about taking a working digital watch, and stripping it down and producing my own casing and strap for it- would be a cool project i think...
  5. evening all. always loved watches, never owned one of my own worth mentioning, but the time is ripe. Im a big fan of the retro casio and seiko watches with those really complex linear surfaces. have a couple of friends with Tags, and theyre pretty nice too- show us yer watches!
  6. To whichever sod set off a firework mid sidehop, my minor heart attack and shiny new scratches are on you.
  7. nose-manual g-turn stuff was great shub!
  8. i thought similar until they started trying to do things with me that I wouldn't consider acceptable while being in a relationship with someone else, I've put my foot down with one but the other seems to be ignoring it.
  9. "The Sad thread?" ive had two girls, one 23 and one 18 (my age) both tell me that they want to date me, whilst they both have boyfriends- whom i know very well. i have no idea how ive ended up in this and the whole situation is stress i didnt need. I see them both (and their boyfriends) all the time and theres a lot of lies being thrown around and its all a bit shit. that being said, my last ex cheated on me with two other guys at once and i dealt with that kind of alright. still bitter as F though. apologies for the venting.
  10. those rotors dont move at the pins, i have a broken one on my wall that got completely abused and the rivets/pins are intact maybe something to do with a different metal thickness meaning the pads have to travel a bit more..? who knows. i dont knowhow to fix magura pad rock, only shimano callipers
  11. very approve, im tempted by those tyres when my MTT's die. ive got some at the shop.
  12. that doesnt sound like pad knock.... pad knock is like a small pinging sound, that sounds like youve got a magura for a brake... does the brake slip? rotor ont affect pad rock/knock.
  13. ive found the rt76 and ice techs stiffer. the alluminium spider doesnt bend as easy as just a full steel rotor- itll still bend eventually, but at the prices you can find these rotors if you bother looking, theres no reason not to get them.
  14. That would be fantastic dude, massively appreciated.
  15. Cheeky bit of a bump here. Joined my local this last week, first session in and I actually enjoyed myself. Bit of backstory: always wanted to join a gym, but honestly too scared to ever get around to it. In secondary school I had some serious self esteem issues, and I remember having a minor breakdown when my family tried to get me to go swimming. It's stayed with me to this day, and 99% of the time I will never wear a t-shirt, just because of that self consciousness. (It'll always be a long sleeve rolled up/hoodie.) 3 years of trials has definitely helped, I pretty much consider myself pretty physically fit physique wise, but I'm still not confident enough to wear a t-shirt normally. My friend and I sort of pushed ourselves constantly to go to the gym, and finally we decided "f**k it" and joined. my goal for myself: to be able to wear a t-shirt and shorts normally, and not feel like I need to just get in a bin and stay there. When I look in the mirror, I have the building blocks of everything (forgive my lack of knowledge, here.) abs, chest, arms and shoulders are all THERE, and they weren't at all before I started trials (thanks, trials!) so, here's my routine. Basically, I just want to get beefier but nothing ridiculous. Just enough so this stupid self esteem issue can be a thing of the past. And then go from there. Please bear in my mind I know nothing, this is just from what I think would be best. Any help is MASSIVELY appreciated. I'm also not high up on the world of moneys, so supplement etc you'll have to advise me if I need them at all, for what I'm doing. Ok! 1 mile walk/jog quite a while on the bikes, cross trainers, building up the resistance as I go. Leg press. Just as much as I can, really. Rest of session, all the upper body machines. Warm down of another mile of walking. usually 3 days a week. I've been quite vague on reps there, simply because I have no idea. thanks guys.
  16. Why does that look so nice? I want a go on it.
  17. @Jakub1699 rides regularly and is really good. theres a few others too
  18. I did quite well at GCSE, but i HATED A-levels. i couldnt grasp it. the teachers got fed up with me and eventually i ended up dropping out. ive always been into design since the beginning, and im now on a fantastic course that gets me the qualifications i need to get into the uni i want etc etc. but im worried in my head how what i want to do will end up being different to how ive viewed it for 18 years. its not why i ride my bike, but being able to travel around with people and ride is literally the best. from where ive gone and the stories ive heard, you dont need to worry about getting old fast if you just enjoy yourself instead of sitting there worrying about it, youre only 17 (admittedly ive had a few existential crisis' myself, but just go travel somewhere and ride) photo: Ross at my house on his 17th
