  1. By the selection of random generator, Sam kidney is the winner! I've gotten in touch and addresses have been sent. Thanks to the others who commented, have a great 2016
  2. Happy new year- ive travelled across the country a lot this year riding bikes, met loads of great people, for the most part all were generous and put up with the constant drone of words spewing from my mouth. So- I thought it would be good to give someone a cool New Years gift. So, heres a little selection of parts.. trialtech 150x35 stem brand new magura to V adapters hope top cap just throw a comment with your personal favourite bike youve owned. (Random selection, as per, at the end of the 1st of jan) (ps- Id rather UK only, but I'll try my best if the winner is overseas.)
  3. as much as im your friend jordan, ross's point was valid and your response was a jibe, keep it mature. better!
  4. Drawing done by a japenese artist for a star wars comic, in a Star Wars zone recently after the new film.
  5. George Thompsons brakeless arcade. Best looking ive seen by far, and the only one id want to own.
  6. The best way I found was to imagine yourself at the bottom of a circle. Sounds odd, but you're as you're switching, you move the front wheel so it follows the shape of the circle (I'm not very good at explaining) also, it's easier when youre at your front wheel balance point, and the motion of leaning over the front and then throwing the bike to rear should be one smooth action.
  7. I can't keep away from brakeless, ive robbed this one of them as well, it's now a mix of my two bikes- the other limey frame now mounted on my wall
  8. Saw on facebook, she was alright EDIT: and here's the link... https://www.facebook.com/marionporchertrial/posts/509005129273956:0
  9. Got it off, using a method that flipp just showed me, which works really well. I've included a picture- lining up the chain with little "spikes" so it can't rotate in the vice (imagining the envelopes are vice jaws)
  10. Wanting to remove a spacer on the bash, so obviously the sprocket needs to come off. From experience, what's the easiest/ best way of unscrewing it without damaging it? its an 18t.
  11. An Enjoyable watch. https://youtu.be/GL0rbxB9Lqg
  12. Royksöpp- monument. But i don't recognise the remix? If you could shed some light
  13. Cleric, you've gotten pretty good at English. Or maybe you take lessons from him in how to come across as a tool, no? Your arguments make my arguments look good...
  14. I think your riding has stepped up again, it's great to watch
  15. Quick update, after 2 weeks of riding every day nothing's broken! Had to re-tension the wheels fairly often. Switching to a sloping stem soon, bike weighs in at 9.3kg so it's not exactly light....
  16. Pads: TNN ADM CNC backings Time used: few weeks Rim used: TryAll 19" dual wall Grind: 1 ride old fresh medium Ceraminc: No Brake used: Magura hs11 2011, no booster. What is your opinion of a working brake: loud, with all the hold Review: on a dead grind, I found these were fairly useless, slight noise, no hold whatsoever, I put on some KOOLSTOP pads and they beat it in performance and noise. However, slap an alright grind at theyre transformed into quite simply the best pads ive had- bit of wearing in helped there too as well. Very tacky, superb hold. cNC backings make for a nice feeling brake too- which is a bonus. Pads: heatsink Blues plastic backings Time used: a Fair few months Rim used: tryall single wall front/ tryall dual wall rear Grind: Yes Ceraminc: No Brake used: Magura 2011 hs11, no booster What is your opinion of a working brake: loud, with all the hold Review: initial bite is very good, on smooth aswell as a grind. I actually ordered these by mistake, I meant to order rockman Blues, which are the same colour, price, and next to the heatsink on the tartybikes listing. (Oops!) however, I haven't regretted it as they've worked pretty darn well. It's been on the rear and now the front, the wear life is alright but as these are very soft inevitably they're gonna wear down quick. They've still got well over half life left and ive used them for quite a while now. Because of the soft compound and plastic backings it does make a nicely bled four finger lever feel a bit meh, but that's my only complaint.
  17. Www.tartybikes.co.uk best all round in my opinion, great postage and customer service to boot
  18. I have two brand new, in boxes and bubble wrap, (until I took one out for photographs) Planet X zebdi frames, not a mark on either, like I said, brand new. I don't know what sort of worth they are, if anyone can help me out at all, I know sod all about these frames.
  19. so I can footjam it without my foot going through the forks! Haha
  20. Will upload better pictures Later, this is my second bike I have at the minute, another limey 3 20", with brakes, just so I have the option of riding both. It has brakes and still manages to be lighter than the Brakeless one! (I bet it's the tyres) real quick spec: limey 320 "Hjørdas" trialtech everything bar wheels, brakes and pedals. (And a few small things) saint pedals, tryall rear+front rim and monty+stiky lite tyres. rides really nicely
  21. needles, sorry haha. Never seen a headset with them so it caught my eye! Thanks
