  1. Pretty sure on tartybikes it says unscrew the clamp bolts, put an object that covers the threads, so when you try and screw the clamp bolts back in the just hit the object and force the clamp open. Don't do it too much though.
  2. there's a group of us on Facebook, "coventryish riders" pm me (Jamie Wiltshire) on Facebook if you're interested
  3. I think it's still plausible, just. Vids or it didn't happen!
  4. Damn I remember seeing a thread on that bike a while back, was it he ones with the cutouts in the hubs aswell?
  5. My friend Jason's gu- he's joined the 203mm club with it's front brake. Love itttt On a related note, there's a bunch of us called "the coventryish riders" on Facebook, if any of you are based in cov and are on Facebook drop me a PM
  6. as above, I have no garage and a simple setup to play about with would keep me entertained for eternity perfect place to learn on. Put two pallets down and slowly move them apart as you learn to gap bigger and bigger, maybe spice it up and try some gaps to front. Keep at it, I almost prefer videos like these to edits
  7. I like to prepare myself for crashing into walls by having brakes which replicate that experience
  8. cheers who cares? I weigh next to nothing and it stops better than anything I've ever had
  9. *le update* put insulation tape on the saint pad backings, no moar pad rock! On the downside my freewheel ate itself. New rotors are lurvely
  10. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=371237413859seems it's a fat bike fork, guess they need that extra power for their big ass wheels. Imagine it with four tgm pads! And how much lining up you'd have to do to get the pads to hit at the same time, and bleeding it.
  11. Snapped 2 threaded rods trying to get my freewheel off, also cracked a 3 meter extension bar. Fun.

  16. There's been a lot of really good edits coming out lately, I thought id tack my first edit/ video I've made, that I just finished on the end I've been riding trials for about 1 and 3/4 years, I think? And all I could do on a bicycle before then was endo, so, I'm interested to hear your responses. If you turn it up when the music stops you can hear my freewheel break in HD! (The premonitions were right) I found the song on my iTunes and really liked it, knew Ive heard it before but wasn't sure where, was talking with flipp and it turns out it was one of his edits I'd heard it off D: forgive me Cheers EDIT: cameras used: gopro, iPhone 4s, iPhone 6, Nokia lumia. And then uploading it munched the quality)
  17. honestly, that's the only other bike besides mine I would own and not change anything. Love ittttt #saints
  18. I do know how to take it apart I'm just scared what I'll find
  19. Awww man I've looked at it and the outer cog spins side to side AND up and down from the center. That's a bit off
  20. *rubs hands together* time to get the ol' vice and 3 meter extension bar back out
  21. After about 1 1/2 years my echo sl has suddenly gone loose. Two days ago, I would spin the cranks and would feel a "resistance" from the ratcheting, obviously when I'm walking the bike the cranks would spin, as they should. I literally just spun the cranks just now and felt very little resistance sound is slightly higher pitched. The only reason I can think is from a drop I did yesterday, where I heard a "clunk" from the drivetrain. I'm the 6th owner of this particular freewheel and I've never serviced it since I got it 1 1/2 years ago ish. Could this be the forshadow of it's death?
