  1. It's Sam bent down I think, that Tom (Chilvers?) with the hat on. Really like that one Ad Get down to Bristol sometime! Everyone loves a nice Brizzle ride! I can't believe I tanned the worst out of everyone there, I'm still peeling! :$ AFAIK it's Psoriasis, and yeah, was around that. Wasn't small that's for sure.
  2. Epic post Dave, loving the new stuff, and looking forward to seeing what the future holds!
  3. f**k yeah! I had one of those with those graphics, swapped it for the Megamo in my earlier post!
  4. Deng parts are strongest out there, you'll be fine.
  5. My old 2004 XTP had 6 owners before me and is still going strong. Find me an 8 year old Deng frame that has been ridden for that long? Well obviously they didn't think it was necessary, otherwise they would have done it sooner. We've been through this, Deng has so many frames being ridden because he has so many brands and is putting out 21 "different" frames a year!! If you add up all the other brands frames then they probably only just come close to that, which means the other 40% is being ridden by them, take away the 20% of the UK scene which are Deng bummers and things start to balance out. Proof of that last statement is needed please. You can't just make claims like that man it's f**king ridiculous Well they researched it enough to find out that it obviously does have some benefits, they wouldn't have just released it for shits and giggles. Was the only footage I had to base your riding on. What makes you think that? You say I'm old school yet now I have no experience with parts?! How does that work?
  6. So you're saying anything produced by Deng never breaks? Why is it better to have them closer together? I'm pretty sure their riders have still been winning comps on that frame? One of the reasons Monty changed to a low top tube is probably because everyone else has done it. Over the last few years their frames have changed, just because they look the same doesnt mean they all ride the same, they've had subtle changes. I take that back now, thinking about it, with his freehubs, he took an industry standard system and scrapped it, meaning you have to buy HIS sprockets to go on his hubs, very nice of him to do that. I was talking about the geo of his frames, he may change the shape of them but they all seem to be pretty similar, doesnt matter if you're on a Pure or a Pitbull or an A1 or a Typhoon you're gonna get pretty much the exact same geo. Maybe 1ยบ on the headangle or 2mm on the chainstays. What about the 231 cranks which IIRC were new last season? You can't make claims like that because you haven't ridden them, how do you know it makes no difference to the way the bike rides, carbon has totally different properties to alu, it's not just for saving weight. They haven't hydroformed it because of how or where the frames break, they've done it because it creates a stiffer frame which is also lighter. I would have said from watching your video what stops you is the fact you're an average TGS rider and Koxx generally produce comp bikes. You did.
  7. Hope Mono Trial, every time. 180mm I reckon for your 24"
  8. You may think that, however everyone says they've changed for the worse. You rarely hear people complaining about the Koxx frames getting worse, do you? Also, 2007 2008 Read this: Thanks for backing me up mate. However, I actually do know for a fact he hasn't ridden every single pair of forks, he may have ridden peoples bikes for a few minutes, but you're not gonna snap a set of forks in that time (unless you're very unlucky and they were close to breaking, however when I ride peoples bikes I tend not to try stuff which puts their parts at risk), you need to ride a set of forks for at least a few months to decide which ones are stronger, it's not gonna happen.
  9. Don't forget to tell him that you pulled a stinker!
  10. I enjoyed it, a few 'tards but as my sister worked there to fund her way through uni, we had a laugh, mainly picking on idiots and pissing the managers off by hiding.
  11. Had about 2.5 years under my belt at Maccys!
  12. Chipping potatoes in a chip shop, then started McDonalds just under 2 months before my 16th birthday (I had NI so it was all good).
  13. I am JonMack. PM me with what you want, what it has to do, when you want it by, and how much you're expecting to spend etc. Cheers, Jon
  14. Been dual disc for the last 6 months and I won't ever be going back to anything else. As other people have pointed out the pro's, i'll just say I'm very happy. Only annoyance is lack of DD frames, for now.
  15. Well over in Dubai it's past midnight so it's Joes birthday, must suck not having his fam out there so let's all wish him a happy birthday
  16. If you saw Adam ride you'd understand. Smooth as!!
  17. Also, Welsh rider Matti Hemmings? (I think) won flatland Am and English rider Sam Foakes won flatland Pro, beating Matthias Dandois!!
  18. Hell yeah! Looks so nice man, awesome!
  19. Doesnt surprise me, it's the first 10 minutes. I would imagine in a few hours it will be fine, I also assume the record is for any download within the next 24 hours?
  20. Yeah I know the feeling, hopefully within a few weeks I'll be able to start building up my summer project, which is a sub 9 bike. Can you get some closeups of the tyres, interested in which knobs you took off
