  1. Could strip paint on everything then get it shot blasted and anodized, could maybe save that 100g and get it sub 8 But lets be honest, most peoples bikes are 9+ anyway, I reckon getting a bike sub 9 is pretty decent, sub 8.5 is mad and sub 8 is insane.
  2. Glad I wasn't the only one that noticed that.
  3. Also make sure you're online all the time. Now i've quoted you, you can't do a sneaky edit and call it spelling.
  4. Well at the time he obviously didn't think they were the best, did he? Otherwise he probably would have kept them. Plus it's only because you can't get them anymore that people want them so badly. When he releases the '08 Python, even if the geo is exactly the same as the 04 or 05 then there will be complaints and people will say they ride like shit and aren't the same. I can assure you. I dunno if it's because I don't check the videos forum every 5 minutes, but I haven't seen a video from any of those guys in while, I didn't even know Neil and Craig were still on the team because I hear so little of them. What else have you used which makes you say they're the strongest forks out there? I assume you're ridden EVERY other pair of forks, and thus can base your claim around that?
  5. Well it's just the last few posts I happened to read from you were all plugging Deng shit. Yeah maybe 65% of people are using his stuff, but that's because he's got a lot more frames out than other companies. Let's see, he's got (going from tarty) Adamant A1 116 Adamant A1 135 Adamant A3 Czar 20" Czar 26" Czar Freetrials Echo Lite Disc Echo Lite Non Disc Echo Team Echo Control 116 Echo Control 135 Echo Pure Gu LE 20" Gu Typhoon 20" Gu ST 20" Gu LE 26" Gu Typhoon 26" Gu ST 26" Zoo Pitbull 116 Zoo Pitbull 135 Zoo Python So just there he's got 21 frames. The fact his products are split over 5 brands doesnt make any difference, because it's all coming from the same dude. I'm sure if Koxx had 4 other sub-companies they would be pushing out 25 "different" frames a year, but as it stands they're putting out about 6, Monty have what... 3 or 4? Deng also has 5 different lines of parts, each comprising shit like Hubs, Boosters, Bars, Cranks, etc. which is obviously going to make him have a bigger share of the market, it doesn't make his products better, just makes them more accessible. I'm not denying that some of it is good, but a lot of it is just catalogue bought shit, seems to me companies like Koxx and Monty actually put a lot of time into protos and geo checks, whereas Deng is of the "if it aint broke don't fix it" mindset. I'd say Koxx has the best team in the world, if you think about it. I don't even know who is on any of Dengs teams, could you name some people for me? Ooh actually I think Damon is on Gu, or something like that, is that right? I see so much of him in pictures and videos on this forum, how stupid of me to forget . He's doing an awesome job of promoting the brand though! Well done Damon! Well yeah pretty much, you've got it spot on, but just seems with all this promotion of Dengs products you're trying to get something out of it. I can honestly say I don't think his products are the best, if I did I wouldn't be posting asking peoples opinons of bars and stem, because i'd just grab an Echo Team stem and Gu bars . Also love how you write off Ash's forks as "faulty" because they broke, yet back up like f**k when he tells you he knows of two other broken sets.
  6. Should have been more specific in your "Strongest forks out there" claim then. Something along the lines of "Strongest forks out there, unless you run disc in which case they'll die in a week". You do realise Deng isn't gonna read all your posts and decide to sponsor you? You can promote his products on here all you want but unless you're doing something decent within the riding scene he isn't gonna throw you free stuff. The reason that people like Craig and Neil got sponsored was because at the time they were doing shit very few other people were doing. Now everyone has hopped (see what i did there) on the TGS bandwagon, unless you're f**king good, you're going to get nowhere. If he were to sponsor you it would just end up costing him more money and not going him much good, because you're gonna be trying to go huge all the time, and end up breaking stuff, whereas if you actually practise techniques then slowly but surely you will improve. SHOCK HORROR... It's not all about who can go highest/furthest/biggest/whatever. You're not gonna make a living riding a trials bike. End of. Ride for fun, don't ride to win (unless you're a comp rider, which I know you're not). Also crappy teaser videos don't help anyone. I don't have a problem with you Danny, I just think you need to get your head outta the clouds/Dengs ass.
  7. Don't really wanna put on forks that weigh nearly 1kg considering the frame is only 1.3, but I'll think about the bar/stem situ. I hope you don't mind if I ask this Danny, but why do you love Deng products so much?
  8. 07 - http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=121203 08 - http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....=114659&hl= 08 Pro - http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=121379 Adams was an '08, Alex's is an '07, and I'm pretty sure the '08 Pro frame is modelled after the '07. Very confusing! Why couldn't the '08 Pro just be called the '09!
  9. I don't think I've forgotten anything... I've got Frame, forks, bashring, BB, front brake, rear brake, snail cams, chain, cranks, grips, bars, headset, front hub, rear hub, pedals, quick release, rim tape, front rim, rear rim, front spokes, rear spokes, sprocket, stem, front tube, rear tube, front tyre, rear tyre. Not sure what I might have missed other than nipples?
  10. Reminds me of someone else I know... Bed calls, AC Slater... *puts on Strobist DVD Disc 1 to fall asleep to*
  11. Just been spec-checking and wondering why it's still so heavy, unless quotes weights on tarty/t-uk are so out, this should be a lot lighter. Using claimed weights I've built up a sub 8k '08 Dob, going to try work towards it over summer. Depending how light you are check out KHE Flatland tubes, 84g each, 0.6mm wall thickness, available from pijin.co.uk, might be worth it for front wheel.
  12. I'm working out parts I want to buy this summer. Good times.
  13. I say Tsar, like the Russian leaders
  14. Pricey though :/ Yeah I'm working on it... on the look out for some. Get on msn!
  15. Looks awesome man! Nice one.
  16. Mines back now, looks like other peoples are too. Good times.
  17. Yeah but firefox does it in an annoying and big way, Safari does it in a good way.
  18. Well some people say gee-you and other say goo. Personally, I say goo. But Schwalbe isn't spelt Schwable. If it were, your pronunciation would be acceptable, however, you just look retarded.
  19. Throw in letters that aren't there again, good work
  20. Haha I got a T-Master stem at the mo and Onza Carbons, reckon I should just stick to that then?
  21. Well if I get Monty B/S combo, would that be good? I'm 6ft spot on if that gives any idea as to what height stem I should be looking at?
  22. Nice one Dave, I've got Onza Carbons at the mo but may well be able to get 221 Bar/stem, you reckon it's worth going for? Also what are Monty forks like?
