Well yeah, one bad brake doesn't make them all shit. Mine have worked fine for the last 6 months and they're both second hand meaning they've had a lot more use than just me riding them. It's definitely what i'd go for again if mine happened to die.

Don't quite know how you can say that the Hope Mono Trial was the worst brake ever, I much prefer mine to my Louise FR, though they're both good brakes! My Louise FR was 180mm, and my Hope Mono Trial is 160mm, but I found the Hope has a lot better hold.

It's not the new update, they're just preparing it for the new update which will be in a month or so from what I've heard. 1680x1050 is gonna be good though, go go gadget native res!
