  1. This was an interesting one to film! Think I need to give it a go myself now...
  2. My experience with a zoot matches what you have heard large crack around both sides of the seat stay/seat post welds. Although I did enjoy riding it up until then.
  3. I’ve been using the latest inspired bash guard on my bike for the last year or so without any issues. However I purchased a new one to use building up my new bike last month and after just a couple of hits there is now a bend in the chainring meaning that the chain won’t flow through smoothly. just wondering if anyone has had similar issues and if it should be fine just to attempt bending it back into shape? Cheers.
  4. I was riding a 160mm on the rear with mt5 callipers and trialtech pads for the last while Very rarely had any issues with a lack of power although I wasn’t doing anything too big and don’t weigh much either.
  5. Will be interesting to see how it rides and what they can cope with. Seems really short!
  6. Next round of the Scottish series will be held at Newcastleton on the 1st September.
  7. Next Round will be held at Newcastleton on the 1st of September.
  8. It is looking like it’s going to be a wet weekend. I would do but unfortunately I’m also unable to make it to this round...
  9. It hasn’t been mentioned on the FB group at all so i’m assuming they’re just going with pay on the day. I’ll post a link up here if there is one though!
  10. Third round of the Scottish championship is to be held at the Falls of Dochart in Killin. Details will be confirmed on Friday 14th as if it’s too wet then it has to be called off.
  11. Was just about to put this in here! Some really fun looking lines in it.
  12. I’m lucky enough to have plenty of street stuff to ride just outside my house. Also got a quarry within 15 mins ride that’s got a lot of good rocks as well.
  13. Decided to take the camera out on a ride a couple of days ago. Need to work on doing the rotation drops but I’m pretty happy with what I managed to film even though I snapped another chain! Thanks for watching!
  14. Been getting quite a few punctures recently and wanted to check the rim. Noticed that one of the spoke holes isn’t the way it should be and I was just wondering what would have caused this? I’ve wrapped some extra rim tape arround in case that was what was causing the punctures so hopefully no more for a while
  15. I would definitely agree about there being an issue with pad clearance (although it wouldn’t be if I was better at sidehops) They have some pretty impressive stopping power although the lever feel took a few rides to get fully used to. The lever may be metal but there is still a slight amount of flex in the lever body. Picture attached is an example of my questionable sidehop technique.
  16. Thanks for the tips! I’ve managed to get the first one out. It was sitting very slightly proud of the hub, but not enough to grip with mole grips/pliers. I used a very small chisel and a hammer and managed to slowly tap it round enough so that I could get the mole grips to grab it. will most certainly need to drill the other one out as it is sheared near the bottom of the hole.
  17. About to go for a ride and noticed the rear rotor was really loose. Turns out that two of them have sheared halfway down meaning I can’t unscrew them. Whats the best way to try getting them out?
  18. Liked that opening tyre tap to manual!
  19. Found out what the issue was today whilst trying to bleed it again. It appears that the lever body has a leak Is it worth contacting Maugura even though I purchased this second hand? And does anyone have any temporary fixes that might work until a new brake arrives?
  20. I’ve ordered some more oil so will try giving it a proper bleed again which will hopefully sort the issue, if not I will get myself an MT2 lever. cheers for the help guys!
  21. I’m having some trouble with my front brake. It’s a Magura MT5 calliper with MT6 lever body. I’ve bled it and immediately after doing so, went for a ride and it was feeling fine. However when I went out yesterday it was incredibly inconsistent, going between working spot on and just pulling right to the bars with no power. Does it just need a better bleed or could there be another issue?
  22. The manual line at 7:30 was seriously cool!
  23. Haha, I hadn’t really thought about that. When it first started rusting it did look pretty cool, almost like a marble effect underneath the laquer. I think since I’ve put the effort into making it shiny I should now try and learn how to ride jumps properly haha
