Oh WHY didn't someone quote him before he could sober up and edit his post?

Tar in the wet makes things worse. In the dry, it's OK - it makes the brake insanely grabby (no modulation at all) which is sometimes OK. Most people just prefer to buy good pads though

Mac prices are not THAT extortionate. Yeah, you do pay a bit of a premium but more like 5-10% (compared to a comparable laptop from, say, Dell), not three times like you're saying. Some people might say it's worth it OS X is nothing like Linux. OK, it's based on the same thing, but they're totally different to use.

Shit Bongo, hope the news ain't too bad. Either way, get well soon

I wonder if Vincent would choose the girl? You are not a moderator and you're also probably the least qualified person to comment on that ^^

Whatever the hell you're planning on doing, changing your setup will do nothing at all for you. I'm not sure why you're getting lag (maybe server is too far away, maybe your ISP is rubbish, maybe you have spyware raping your bandwidth etc etc) but your plan will do nothing. I used to play Counter-Strike on my 33.6k modem (before 56k ). I'm not sure what my point is though. Smoking is bad

I just use mine for sports (riding, climbing, swimming, whatever else). The rest of the time I wear glasses because I'm so used to them and I quite like them. But for sports contacts are looooads better. I use monthly disposables and just use them once or twice a week for a few hours. I take them out when not riding my bike or whatever though. When they start to feel horrible (or I lose them), I change them for a new set. Since I don't use them too often, a pair will last me a few months. I'd like to try daily disposables but they're more money so the monthly ones do me fine I lose mine occasionally when I'm in water. Did 4 days surfing recently and lost one contact in that time. Depends on your eyes I guess. Also if you've been wearing them for hours before you go in the water, they'll probably 'stick' better to your eyes whereas I tend to put mine in just before I go swimming/whatever.

Totally agree with all of that. Feels sooo much better than a BB7 though. Mine sometimes has perfect bite, usually when it's a bit damp. Most of the time it's slightly less bitey than a BB7, which is either a good or a bad thing depending on your preference. The red dial on mine has just broken though (harder to adjust now, not that I ever really need to adjust it) Nope, it doesn't move the pads. Yeah, I sort of thought that's what it was for, but I just can't see how it would help in a crash?

You need a really good aerial to get anything with these, unfortunately. The name 'Dazzle' also makes me think that it might not be a very high quality item...

While we're on the subject of Juicys (which are good, I have a Juicy 7 but it's already been covered)... On the Juicy 7s and some Juicy 5s (but not the 3s), if you push the lever away from the bar, it moves a bit and clicks into a different position. This is obviously a 'feature' of the brake but I can't work out what it's for. Any ideas?

It's not just a 'gay bloke thread' though, is it? Did you even read it? I thought it was weird and quite funny, but I guess you guys didn't. Whatever, like I said before if you haven't got anything interesting to say, keep your mouth shut Back on topic, you can see an argument with him on his myspace which I thought was quite funny: http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...logID=302573133

Juicy Carbons the same price as Juicy 7s (£89.99) - nice

My favourite bit is this: "I like light blue jeans, they're static, like a summer pond on the radio or really tall windows." Is he for real?! I deleted it because it had nothing to do with the topic and was just a personal insult. Check your PMs and don't post in here again unless you have something constructive to say.

Try resetting the ipod (google for instructions) and try again? Or reinstall iTunes? All the simple things first. Sony MP3 players are worse than iPods for the software though - Sonic Stage is wank.

I use a Juicy 7 and it's ace. I'm not sure about Juicy 5s for trials, but I'm pretty sure they're very similar to the 7s, just less adjustable (no bite point adjustment on the 5s - but who cares?). Let us know

Wow, an offer that good must be legit!

I did it out of curiosity a while ago with my Fender Champ 30, and yeah, it sounds really bad.

You definitely don't want to use a TV for a computer screen. The other way round (using a computer screen for TV) is fine - I watch TV on my computer all the time. You need a TV card/USB receiver. I've got a USB Hauppauge one which is digital terrestrial (Freeview) and it's about £35. It works OK but sometimes needs unplugging/plugging back in to work, so I'd imagine a PCI (internal) one would be better if you can install it. That monitor will be OK and it will work, but I wouldn't hold my breath for the quality of it. You can spend up to £400 on a 22" widescreen TFT so one for £160 won't be amazing... It might be worth getting a 19/20" one because that will probably be better quality for the money.

It's pretty fun, and you can make some cool tracks. But check out the videos of other people's efforts, some of them are amazing!

I am pretty sure that's how all touch screens work, but the one on my phone is still made of plastic and I certainly won't be trying the key-scratch test with it! EDIT: Just read your article, maybe there are other kinds of touchscreens. But the one on my phone is the same technology as the iPhone, just plastic not glass.

The ACL is in your knee (Ask Bongo about that one). The ATFL (Anterior talo-fibular ligament) is the one that goes first usually, and the other you might have done is the CFL (Calcaneofibular ligament). EDIT: Stuff here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Ankle_en.svg

The other thing is, O2 are complete c**ts. So I'll never get an iPhone on O2.

Well that makes it much harder then

No I haven't. Don't think I can really be arsed installing everything again to be honest. What's the difference?
