I've got an Orange m700 (google it if you care) which runs Windows Mobile. You would be very correct in thinking that the touch screen is a bit annoying. Although it works well, it's very easy to press the wrong button since you can't feel what you're doing. And there's certainly no texting without looking either. The handwriting recognition is cool though and if you're sat at a desk then it's probably faster than T9 or whatever. To be honest, as a phone for calls/texting, the m700 is pretty rubbish. But for lots of other things it's cool so I like it. In terms of the m700 vs iPhone, the m700 has 3G, video calling, MMS, GPS. I'd probably swap it for an iPhone though

There are loads of touch screen phones though? And people have been using PDAs for years. Mine certainly still work fine after months of being in my pocket. The only difference is that the iPhone has a more durable glass front (compared to plastic on most phones/PDAs etc). That's a rubbish argument

Done Yeah, no buying/selling here.

I did that ride when I was 13... I took 6 days though! We did meet a team of roadies who were doing the C2C and back in 2 days but that seemed pretty hardcore, doing 70 miles a day for 2 days will be hard I think. But you should be able to do it. I'm guessing you're on road bikes, no?

Get a Nokia 3310 then But yeah, I'm not a fan of all these phones that try to do everything, when they can only do everything badly.
-
Yeah, it's complete bollocks in 99.9% of cases.

I have a PDA phone and I use the PDA bits of it. For this reason I wouldn't buy an iPhone as it is, since my Orange m700 does everything the iPhone can and much more, albeit with slightly less style. But I'm sure I'm slightly unusual in that respect - the average person wants their phone to take shit pictures of them and their mates whilst out drinking and maybe listen to a few mp3s (Which just about every recent phone can do). Most phones will do most of the things people want them to, so for a LOT of people it's a case of getting the most stylish phone they can.

The thing is though, you're calling something rubbish even though you've never used it, and you're laughing at the people that do want one. It may surprise you that most people who own iPods use them and like them, they didn't just buy them because they've been brainwashed by the evil Apple inc. Maddox is right about the 'Mac community' thing - wanting to be part of the exclusive community is pretty lame, but then again there are some pretty similar people who are vehemently anti-Mac and that's equally retarded. Most normal people are just somewhere in the middle - if they like something, they will buy it. Simple. The iPhone has sold loads because it's an awesomely pimp piece of equipment for anyone who likes gadgets (a lot of people nowadays). OK, so it might not have 3G or video but that's not an issue to most people. I'm sure you buy clothes (and mobile phones, for that matter) based on how they look, how they feel etc, not just how many functions they have. My Quicksilver jeans aren't breathable or waterproof or anything clever like that, they are just comfortable and look good, that's all they do.

Yeah they are genuine, they were in some mag I saw recently. Also the eBay seller = Onza = Supercycles I think. So yeah it's legit. Although I thought we decided (in another thread) that HS33s were only about 10 years old?

On the subject of wakeboarding being inaccesible... I've got a mate who wakeboards. His family own a house in Barbados (well, I say house, I mean apartment complex ) and they've got boats and stuff over there for wakeboarding. So he goes there for the summer and generally has a blast. Lucky b*****d

Haha, that's cool. Wish I could do that stuff

Yeah, and a couple of the Juniors did OK, we got Gold in Junior Men's DH (Ruaridh Cunningham) and Silver in the Junior women's (Katy Curd).

That's not as bad as I thought it was going to be from all the reactions, but still horrible to watch. Unlucky, get well soon

Neither. I guarantee it will be a software issue on your computer. Nothing to do with the power supply or anything like that. Do virus/spyway/adware checks and if possible reinstall Windows. If that's not possible, just reinstall iTunes and see what happens.

You're not allowed to sell in NMC and if you ever plan to get out of here into the main forum, you had better improve your spelling 'Mad fore sail' indeed...

I'm not. Especially if their clip selection was as boring as it was in the two clips they actually showed - one was benito back-hopping for about 10 seconds for a sidehop. Sooo boring. DH is easier to explain to people who don't know about it, and it looks more exciting anyway. But still, two clips is a piss-take.

Oh my god, 2 hour program and 2 (f**king boring) clips of trials. Wtf was that?!

I dunno, maybe you do need an iTS account. It's just in the iTunes menu bar. Advanced > Get album artwork. Try it.

Auto Mod Please use the Best Of The Internet for topics like this.

There is a program, but you don't need it with iTunes 7. Sorry, I can't remember the name of the program, but it does exist. I'll let you do the googling

Zoo bars on a zoot is a rubbish idea. It's not a TGS bike and never will be.

To sort this out, you need referring to a cardiologist - one way or another. Best plan is to go to the GP, and they will refer you to the hospital. You could go to A&E but you'd probably be waiting a long time to see a doctor (An A&E doc, not a cardiologist) and you'd still have to come back to see a cardiologist. A GP could order an ECG but it wouldn't tell them anything as most wouldn't have a clue how to read one, especially if it's something reasonably subtle like WPW. But if you go to A&E they could easily do an ECG there - you'd just be waiting ages.

Go to the doctor's, muppet!

That's for 26" bikes though. 24" bikes need about a 25mm bb rise just so it doesn't scrape the floor, so +35 is nothing. If you buy a stem like that you'll kill it. I would try a longer stem, with more height - either by a more sloped stem, or stem stackers if you can, or bigger riser bars. Generally what Adam I would agree with.
