Ooooh I get you. Sorry, me being dumb. V-brakes pull more cable I believe, but not masses more. I'd gues it would be fine but I don't know.
-
NTL has been fine for me for the past 4 years. I don’t really ever speak to them though. In fact they don’t even have my current, or last address! My login information is apparently stored in the modem, so I can just take that and plug it in anywhere in the Manchester area, and it’ll work, apparently. At least this means I don’t get all their junk mail. The connection in my area can get REALLY sluggish at times so to be fair I think the fair usage thing is a good plan. I don’t download in the evenings anyway, I put the torrents on during the day and turn them off when I actually want to use the internet

Just run longer cables. I can turn my bars 360* both ways, no problems. You can run the front cable through the stem but you don't have to, and it's a bit awkward. The cable has to make a few sharpish bends, which means a rubbish feeling brake, and running the cable through the stem can be annoying. That's not an issue since the lever dictates how much cable is pulled, not the giro. I'm not sure it would feel great on a v-brake though.

Use the "forgot my password" thing with the email address, as long as you KNOW it's the address you signed up with. I had trouble signing in earlier - I know my password but it wasn't working, maybe there's some glitch somewhere. Anyway, the reset password thing works fine

Everyone clever bids at the last minute anyway

No, not really. You don't cut massive chunks out or anything, just cut the surface up a bit so it's rougher.

Good, cos I was too lazy to change too

If you use £2000 of your £2000 overdraft you don't get charged at all... You have to be a student though. A proper student - not just at college
-
No it's not, I'm on £1750 interest free overdraft with HSBC, it can go up to £2000 if I want. Although apparently HSBC are bastards when it comes to paying it back - there's no interest-free grace periods after you graduate any more (there was when I signed up). I got a 5 year railcard with HSBC (a few years ago now) and it's definitely worth having, saves looooads of money. One of my friends got a duck-shaped popcorn machine instead

A lot of the foreign people on here write in better English than most of the English members...

It would depend on how much you stretched the opening, surely? Still funny even if not completely scientific

No matches I'm afraid. I would imagine Wayne knows who it is though. Waynio hater, stop being an immature idiot.

Stuff that's in em is poisonous to the cells of the body. In simple terms.

It's a complication of smoking that non-smokers make up to try to rid smokers of one of the few joys they have. Sounds much worse than it is No, I'm a medical student though. At the moment I'm working as a secretary in the hospital for some dorrah over the summer, that's why I'm working in the cancer hospital.

Not only are you buying/selling something against the rules - you also have the worst spelling I've seen in a while. Which, for this place, is an achievement. Auto-Mod For Sale/Wanted topics are no longer allowed in New Members Chat. If you wish to post a For Sale/Wanted topic on Trials-Forum you need to read and follow this - http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;f=13&id=3 Topic Closed. -
Everybody be cool, or this topic gets closed so fast you won't be able to say 'intracranial metastasis'.

That's really harsh. If you've ever had to refuse someone for being underage, it's actually really hard to do - no one really likes to argue so yeah a lot of people will give in because they don't want to cause a scene. So you make them feel shit, and risk them getting a big fine, just so you can have a fag? Dick. It's playing the percentages though - I bet for every person like your Grandad, there is the guy who isn't so lucky and died by his age. I am working in a cancer hospital in the lung department - if you saw how much the average patient there smoked, you'd stop. Except they only stop when it's too late and their lungs and brain are riddled with cancer. That's the best thing I've read on here in ages

You'll still have to get them in Pentax mount (do they use 4/3?). This means two things 1) You won't be able to buy second hand lenses easily (there aren't any), and 2) A lot of shops won't stock Pentax versions of, say, Sigma lenses. Most online places would though I guess. Just one question, do you NEED a dSLR? The problem is that you have to spend a lot on lenses before you get better image quality than a good 'prosumer' like the Canon S4. SLRs are versatile, yes, but in terms of getting the best quality snaps for not much money, they're not ideal.

Anything Maxxis, as long as it's dual ply on the back and single on the front. Interestingly in the world of downhill, Maxxis are the poor man's Michelin. If you look, the minions are basically a rip off of the Comp 24, highrollers = comp 16, swamp things = comp 32 (sort of). I might have got mixed up there. No-one seems to use Michelin for trials though (apart from that God-awful Hot S). Inur - I don't know how you can rate IRC El Gatos. When I used to run them (years ago) I would pinch on every other ride or so. The sidewalls are like paper!

I saw that and I thought 'hmmm, that can't be what you're on about because that's just a shadow and it doesn't even look like a face'. Is your Mum one of those people who buys slices of burnt toast because it looks like it has Jesus' face on?
-
The really old Martin Hawyes one? It's short, about 1020 and it won't have much BB rise (maybe 0 drop). Someone else should be able to confirm this but not many people ride them any more, and they came out before anyone was that fussed about wheelbases and BB rises.

Do we know if you're gonna have to run a fork, or can you run rigids?
-
That's what I mean though. If it's above £400, I can't really work out who would buy it?

Orange + Ashton was a deal that was made aaaaages ago, but nothing seems to have really come of it, yet. I wonder if these are even made in a different factory to the ETs? Or if Orange have made any changes at all. It looks like he's done a tailwhip/barspin or something - the hoses look like they're already twisted once. I was trying to work out why he had that routing.
-
Here's a nice big picture - maybe this makes it clearer. Small bashguard, single speed - it's just an Ashton ET with a fork on - perhaps you don't class that as a trials bike but meh Interesting things I can see: Cheap-looking Truvative cranks + bash - either this is one of Martyn's sponsors (?) or a sign that this could be available as a full bike? 74 Kingz tensioner Orange branding on the rockshox forks - Maybe we'll be getting a new orange-branded trials frame soon?
