f**kkk.. Just Deleted Something By Accident.
Tomm replied to Joe Papasnap Maher's topic in Chit Chat
You can do it. Back in the days of Windows 3.1 there was a program included in Windows called 'undelete' which does exactly what you need. Then when the recycle bin was invented, they stopped including undelete, which is a shame. Basically, when you delete something, Windows only deletes the 'link' (in the File Allocation Table, or FAT) to that bit of data on the hard drive. I.e. it says it's not there but it really is - although most of your programs etc can't see it. Obviously, new files can be copied on top of these 'deleted' one. Therefore it's quite important that you don't copy ANYTHING to the hard drive before you've recovered your stuff - otherwise it could get overwritten. Try not to install any software unless you are sure it will work, and install it to another drive if possible. Data recovery firms only charge silly money when they need to disassemble a drive (in sterile conditions) and rebuild it etc. All you need is a simple piece of software. Like a lot of other people though, I can't tell you where to find that software Try this Joe http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Utiliti...S_Recovery.html -
You really don't need to bump your own topics. When they die, it's for a reason.

Haha that's so cool. Does it actually turn though?

Jesus, in the time it took for me to close the other thread and warn the little tosser, he makes this wonderful thread. Well he's gone now anyway. -
(tomm Is Ace) Looking For A Mod Got £500
Tomm replied to Onza-Trials's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Excuse me if I don't see the funny side I think Mr Onza-Trials can have a little ban. And I get the last word as I can edit topic titles... -

Genuinely stupid. Some stupid bint cut me up (pulled out in front of me without looking) and I ended up skidding on my road bike about 2 ft from her back bumper. It was a nice powerslide, and I avoided her. But if she's even looked in her mirror at any stage, she would have seen me.

It should pop up if you're using 'push' email and have GPRS connected all the time.

Probably 'she', probably old. The thing that does my nut is hesitant drivers. If I'm on my bike, and some old dear comes up behind me and can't decide whether or not to overtake me. So she just goes behind me for a bit, and then changes her mind and tries to go around, but by this point she's going slow and a car comes around the corner - meaning she has to cut me up. Whereas if she'd just been confident in the first place and carried on past there wouldn't have been a problem. Actually hesitant/shy people annoy me in general - it does them no favours in life.

I second that - mine's ace. Got Tomtom and Memory map - both work flawlessly. On its own, though, the phone can't actually do anything with the GPS - you need software. Windows phones are probably the way forward - there's just so much software available. If you get a Sony one I don't think you'll be able to run half as much stuff. [When you get it, you NEED the Phonepad hack (makes a normal phone-like keyboard for texting so you don't need to use the stylus) - It's on the forum somewhere, or PM me.]

A lot of very immature stuff going on in here, and it's just making the whole lot of you look like tools. I wish I could, it's amused me at work today. Yes. Now.

I was out late the other night picking my sister up from town - just sat in my car, parked waiting. Anyway, this guy comes up to me and does the usual 'what R u lookin at' shit, so I drive off. I look behind in the mirror to see him trip up the kerb, and drop his kebab. lol indeed. Welcome to England. Some people are tossers.

Yeah I totally agree about the landy. My mate's got one and you can barely fit a bike in the back with the wheels off - let alone sleep. MAYBE in the long wheelbase ones.
-
Yeah, they'll work it out.

I'm not a fan of the Ozonys logo at all - it's way too big and the font is rubbish (IMO of course). But the rest of it looks lovely. Black & White bike ***

I assure you that getting validated is not one of those things... Ash - your post was very ironic. Intentional?

Assuming it's not already beyond repair... Those Onza BBs are unique - I think you will need to speak to where you got it from for the cup as it won't be a standard one you can get from a bike shop. To be honest though, that it shocking quality control and I'd be surprised if the frame (specifically the thread in the BB shell) is still OK. You need to bring it to their attention ASAP and explain that's how it arrived. Otherwise they will most likely claim it's not their fault, and you could end up with a useless frame. As Adam said, do NOT ride it.

I never saw your bodge a year ago... But you can just replace the existing limit screws with longer ones of the same thread size. Much simpler than your method? Unless I missed something?
-
Oh yeah cheers. You want the bike or not?

Actually the alcohol itself has a lot of energy (more per gram than sugar, starch, fat etc) so there's not much escaping the calories. But since strong vodka has very little else in it besides the alcohol, it's probably the least calorific drink. Guinness is the worst though. Looooads of calories in a pint.

My mum loves him since he's a dietician. To be fair, children in school do eat a lot of shit and they're not clever enough to make sensible choices about their health. So they eat shit, get fat and by the time they're 18 they're clinically obese and it's too late. They're depressed and they comfort eat, and get fatter. The cycle continues.

My girlfriend's mate works for him - she co-writes all the cookbooks apparently. I think she basically does all the legwork and tries out the recipes different ways to perfect them. Just thought you'd like to know. I used to think he was annoying but I'm over it now. He seems genuine enough.

Yeah I do know for sure that fixies need a front brake to be road legal, so Ed's logic sounds about right
