Frame sizes are weird though. My hardtail is only 14" and I'm 6' but it's rated as a medium (though I really should have bought a large). And it's actually pretty long - with a slightly longer seatpost it fits me perfect.

Echo is the oldest one I think, and people know Echo products are good. Adamant is a pretty recent one and it adamant frames turned out to be shit, it wouldn't tarnish the good name of Echo. At least I think that's how it works. Although everyone here know that Deng makes all the brands anyway, and we just lump 'em all together as Deng frames, which completely defeats the point.

I used Rollersnakes, they're good. Mostly though I buy trainers on impulse when I see them in a shop, so I don't often order online.

They do a few, the 4" travel bikes are a bit cheaper so maybe check out the 2007 4.3, might be in your price range. Although I don't know about how they compare to other 4" bikes. The 5.5 gets amazing reviews though, and the 4" one has the same frame design.

You MIGHT be able to get a 5.5.3 for that in the sales. I saw one that was on sale for £900 I think, but only in S or XL. Normal sizes are £1050-1100 ish (E.g. HERE), RRP is £1299. The '08 ones look nicer and apparently have slightly tweaked geo, stiffer back end (monocoque swinger) and better spec, for the same RRP. There is a stupidly cheap deal HERE but it's for the Supreme 'Mini-DH'. Would make an awesome DH bike on the cheap. £810 for this beast -

They've had a couple of mistakes in the past (which have been sorted out with everyone happy) - out of hundreds (thousands?) of orders. It seems a bit unfair to worry about reliability based on that. Still, Tarty are faultless, so take your pick

You need to buy an unlocking cable I think. Try eBay. But it's probably just easier to go to a shop. As far as I know, there's no free way of doing it. If you find a way, let me know

For now... That's how everyone starts you know. Nah, I'm just against it because there's loads of betting shops around here and there are people that spend a LOT of their time in there, people I wouldn't ever like to meet. But the occasional flutter is fun.

I'm running a big extension cable to my main aerial (it goes the length of my flat). You can buy powered have aerials which are supposedly better but I don't know if they're good enough. Alternatively, you could just get/make a better (bigger) aerial.

Nah, you want one of these. 5.5" of travel, they also do a 4" one (kinda like the difference between the Trance/Reign). I am actually very seriously considering getting one, though I'd probably wait for the 08 version (pictured) which looks much nicer. Though I couldn't really justify the top spec 5.5.1 (pictured), they do a cheaper 5.5.2 and an even cheaper 5.5.3. Alternatively, what about the new Trance X? Heavier duty than the normal Trance but lighter than the Reign. I was actually thinking of making a topic about this - What do people think of riding full sus? Being a trials rider I quite like my technical uphills, and on my Marin hardtail I am OK. But I'm not sure if getting a full susser would destroy this, or if it would just be all-round more fun? In terms of weight, the Marin is a porker at 32lbs and the Commencal full susser actually weighs less.

Apparently, bananas can help but I think that's a bit of an old wife's tale - Arm pump can be due to low potassium and we all know Bananas are supposedly a good source of potassium (they're actually not as good as some other fruits, but meh). I refuse to believe that eating a banana will help your arms though. No harm in trying I suppose, unless you hate bananas as much as I do

I'm surprised you can get anything at all with the portable aerial. I can't get anything on mine with that, but it's plugged into the main aerial so it's all good. Same with my freeview box, too. You've just got to use a decent aerial. I don't know how well those powered ones work though.

It's probably arm pump or something then. Get stronger and it doesn't happen as much. Plus if you relax your grip a bit, that can help. Oh, and keep hydrated.
