Here you go, for all you people with slower computers/macs TRAinhighdef.lowdef.avi
-
Yeah, I was gonna say that. Couldn't quite remember though. Even though it's like 5 years old, it still looks mental. Some of that stuff on big freeride bikes is crazy
-
Whenever I do small (4ft) gaps to front wheel I can do them perfect into front hops or whatever. Anything much bigger and I do what you do - weight too far back and just sort of push the bike under you. I therefore conclude that you just need more power and more distance, and landing right will follow after that

I sort of agree with Ian, I never used the rubbish cameras or music players really. But I used to have a phone and a PDA which I used all the time. So I've combined them both into one device which I have with me all the time. Plus you haven't really lived until you watch the news streaming on your phone via wifi, whilst sitting on the shitter

The 4200+ won't be THAT much faster than what you've got at the moment. Maybe for multiple threaded applications (not many). If you want your games to run smoother, you need to turn the detail down, run a lower resolution or buy a better graphics card. Simple

And add on at least 50g for the hub as compared to a non-disc hub.
-
What does that do then? Lets you text like a normal phone? Does it have T9? If you could get it to me, that would be sweet. I'll PM my email address. Ta.

Back in the day, I compared my rear magura setup to my XT vee setup. The magura inc hose, fluid, pads, evo adapters, booster came out at 440g, and the v-brake 365g. So a pretty big difference really. A lot of your weight comes from the v-adapters, too, so bear that in mind.

They ARE the same as the old Echo Pure hangers, though depending on which one you get, some filing my be required.

I certainly have never earned enough money to buy a laptop, I'm still sponging off parents, birthdays, student loans etc. As are most people in this thread I'm sure (couple of exceptions). In fact, I think it's a bit rich talking down to him because he didn't buy his laptop with his own money since I'm fairly sure you didn't! On a similar note, I actually DID buy my 30D last summer after working for 3 weeks solid to afford it, but that's about the only thing I own like that lol. Everything else is from sponging. I'll be earning money soon enough though

Ditto. I quite like it, it does GPS which is kool. It is a bit annoying having to use a stylus to text someone though. When you're at a desk, it's dead easy, but there's no way in hell I can walk and text on it.

Carphone Warehouse will do almost anything to get your business. They work on commission, I wouldn't be surprised if the phone sellers bent over and let you shaft them in exchange for your signature. Anyway, the point I'm making is that they might like to buy you out of your current contract, especially if they could make a deal with 3, and pay less than you would.
-
I'm too forgetful to take it off before I go out though. Which is why I should never get a REALLY expensive watch.
-
I've got quite a nice Seiko that I got as a 21st birthday present. It's really nice, not super expensive but looks nice. Only problem is that I wear it all the time and I've scratched it loads from riding (and crashing) with it on
-
Just out of interest, how do you set up a disc badly? Unless you're like lubing the disc or using the wrong pads, I don't really see how you can go wrong?!
-
It does look very well made. Those dropouts are on loooooads of bikes, so it might work on quite a few other bikes, too.
-
I don't think you'll notice that much difference compared to the Zoot, to be honest. I went from an Ashton (basically the same as 24UK) to a Zoot and they're pretty similar really.
-
Not necessarily. Zoom lenses with big max apertures (I.e. the 2.8 on the 70-200) tend to be pretty large and heavy.
-
Jesus, this Pete Wright stuff is not funny at all. You weren't even around then Kinda off topic a bit, but do you tell chavs how much your bike is worth?
-
I don't know Wayne particularly well, but I know he's one of the most genuine people around. There is no way he put that up to 'stir up more trouble'. It's like Bongo said lol. Let's hope the committee find the same thing.
-
I don't check this thread all the time, so this might be a repost. But meh, it's kool

But for taps, longer WB without changing the cockpit can help? To answer the original question, most forks are largely the same geometry. If they're not bent, they're angled at the crown, yes. The differences between Zoo and Echo forks, I don't know. Like someone else said, ask Tarty...
-
Not that it's really for you to say, but I believe Mike has a bit of an import/export eBay business where he buys lenses and then sells them on again. So those lenses are not all for his personal use.
-
I don't see why it won't work in VLC on the PC? Maybe you need a newer version or whatever. Works fine on mine, and I don't think I've ever downloaded any codec packs. Macs HATE wmv. They play normal wmvs very grudgingly, so hi-def is just asking for trouble. I bet if it was h.264 or some mpeg codec it'd be fine. I think all you can do is have Quicktime player + flip4mac (or the MS equivalent which is the same thing, different name). That's what I've got and it does play it, just really, really slowly.

I like the way he's taken the hanger bolt off to save even more weight
