It's the Raw file off a Canon 30D, and maybe the 400D now actually. You can do it with Photoshop, but you need the Camera Raw 3.4 or higher plugin. Or any Raw conversion software, but I don't know which ones are free. Or you can use Picasa (by google), though that tends to make a hash of converting files. Alternatively, chuck em in my direction and I'll sort you out. How many of them are there? I ain't doing it if there's like 100.

You probably don't need to mess about with the jumper settings (Slave/master and all that) because most computers these days just work it all out automatically with the hard drives set to CS (cable select). So basically unscrew the hard drive from the old computer, turn the new computer off (that's quite important ) and then just plug in any cables that fit

What version of Windows you using? Did you install the drivers before plugging it in? I assume the instructions would tell you what to do, but on mine, you HAVE to install the drivers before plugging in the USB port otherwise it doesn't work. Remove all the automatically installed stuff in device manager, run the install program and THEN plug it in when it says. Mine ain't the official MCE one though, so it might be different.

My netgear router's being a bit funny. After a year of being on constantly, it's starting to do funny things. The wireless isn't as reliable as it used to be, and the networking also fails occasionally.

Have you got a router or anything like that? If you do, just plug two NORMAL ethernet cables into it. If you don't, then you'll have to get a crossover cable from one PC to the other. You'll need to set up Windows file + printer sharing on both computers, then share the whole of the drive of your old computer. But like someone else said, if you can take the computer apart, it's much easier to put the old hard drive in new computer - it would probably save a lot of faff because Windows networks are a pain.

It might be worth getting a multi-size spoke key because your nipples (if you measured them right) aren't the ones you usually find on decent bikes - in my experience anyway. Most bikes take the green Park one which is 0.33cm I think. So if you bought one for your spokes it might not work on any other wheels, which would be a bit annoying. I bought one of THESE - it's much nicer than the Park sharp-cornered triangle one IMO. Or you could just get some more nipples from somewhere and use new ones - I have loads of nipples lying around that I never use, I'm sure you must know someone near you who does.

Is there? The trick is to make sure the camera stays very still. It can be tempting to pan with the rider a bit, but that ruins it.

Basically I've never used a graphics tablet but I'd be interested to try one. They seem to range in price from £20 to £200+, so are the cheap ones OK or just a waste of money? I'd just be using it for Photoshop I think Mainly retouching as opposed to actually drawing original stuff.
