  1. But it's easy, huh? They're only a bit more complicated if you need to bleed them or change the hose, but you shouldn't need to do that.
  2. I see what you're saying JT, but it's quite a complicated system to explain to people. Also, there should be an incentive to become a full member. It's not exactly hard if you're not an idiot.
  3. That just means your getting old I bet the average age on here hasn't changed since it started.
  4. Just out of interest, do XTR BB's still need that tool? Or is it an old standard?
  5. All good suggestions, but none of them quite get what I'm after. I know this is a bit pedantic, but this is the kind of border I want. A few pixels inside, with more image beyond the border. EDIT: Rubbish example because outside the border just looks black. But it is actually part of the picture.
  6. Yeah I could do that but it's a pretty long-winded way of just getting a rectangle. It must be easier than this. Nah, I know you can do that but it's not quite what I'm after. Thanks though.
  7. I think height is the most important thing, rather than length. Get a few stackers under your stem
  8. I am pretty proficient in using photoshop but one thing really bugs me. I'm on about CS2 by the way. This is hard to explain, but I'll try my best. If I want to draw a border (eg around my photo) I want a line ~ 20 pixels in from the outside of the image. So, the way I would do it would be Select all > Select : Modify : Contract (20px or whatever) > Edit : Stroke. But it doesn't let you do this. For some reason, when you 'select all' (or draw a marquee around the whole image), some of the options (expand, contract, stroke) are greyed out. I can't see the reason for this, or even a way around it. What I've been doing is to just use the marquee tool to draw a box freehand which is obviously a pretty rubbish way to get an even border. Any suggestions?
  9. I dunno. My arms just get tired (from climbing, chin-ups etc), they never really get that painful feeling like you get in other things.
  10. I think Pigeon is the best word for though, cos it is exactly what it looks like. Though didn't Ali invent that word about a year ago, not that long ago? But I always called them wheelswaps.
  11. There is almost a point in that bike. Big front wheel for boshing into things, but mod back wheel for better hoppy hoppy stuff? Whether it's worth looking like a tool for, I don't know.
  12. On the other hand he did make trials look more ghetto and cool than a lot of people would...

No it's not, look it up.

There's no such thing at all. But yeah, that spec you suggested would be more than enough. I mean you *could* edit on a 2 GHz P4 with 512 Mb ram, but it would be really slow. So it's just a case of how fast you need it to be, and that would be fine.

Yeah, I remember this! You just have to run really really fast and make sure you know exactly which way to go in the maze. There's no margin for error at all.
  16. There's an idea for a new program, I'd watch that.
  17. That's pretty cool, it's probably lighter than a normal clamp too, hehe.
  18. I was wondering recently if I could do the gladiators assault course. The hand-bike thing would definitely be the hardest I reckon. I'd like to have a go though.
  19. I reckon I could give that bit a good try cos I climb quite a lot, it wasn't a particularly thin grip. But some of the other things I'd have no chance at so fair play to the guy, you have to be a total all-rounder. Climbing across that curtain - wtf? And going up that rope right at the end - he was damn fast!
  20. Oh yeah, cos it sounds like 'cocks' doesn't it? I never realised
  21. If you've got scabs on your legs and go for a nice long ride in the sun, the scabs somehow magically fix themselves to the insides of the shin pads. Nice.
  22. Yeah it would be quicker than walking... But don't leave it anywhere with or without a lock on it - especially in Salford.
  23. Some of the stuff he did like sidehops to squeakers were even better than the tailwhip drop I reckon. Awesome.
  24. The thing is, on your average bathroom scales, I'd be surprised if that was accurate to within ± 1kg, so doing it that way is a bit pointless really.
