  1. I like the way he was trying stuff I couldn't do, without any engagements. Fair play for trying at least. I remember at Tech04, Danny B had a similar thing. Going for a big hook (I think) his FW skipped and he completelt twatted the wall, nearly faceplanted. He managed to hold on and went for another run-up, when his FW skipped again. Then his front tyre went down (must've pinched when he battered into the rock first time around) and the tyre came off. So he tries to sidehop it. Fair play, that's determination right there. He ended up fiving it and getting a slap from his Dad.
  2. £265 Obviously I'm not as bad-ass as I thought
  3. I saw a car like that being used as a wedding car today. I bet they payed a decent amount. Have you any grand plans for yours?
  4. Are you sure more insults are the way forward?
  5. Yeah, you can do dual screen easy. Even on my old iBook which was very basic in comparison to a MBP.
  6. I think it was U6 like they've said, and I think U6 is a fancy name for 6061-T6. But like I said, I THINK. I'm not sure at all.
  7. That's not really true when it comes to Jews though. Jews can be either religious or racial, or both. If you are born into a Jewish family, but later denounce the religion, you are still a Jew. If you are (for example) white and British, but you adopt Judaism, you're not really a Jew, and there are other Jews who you wouldn't be permitted to marry. My point is that the whole race/religion thing is muddled up and you can't always distinguish the two. Besides, I am not sure that this conflict is because of the Christian world vs the Muslim world. It's about the (middle) East vs the West. There's no point hating muslims
  8. Yeah, 8 cores ***! 16Gb of ram too... Bet they're not cheap though.
  9. No. One of the core beliefs is that of modesty - I know plenty of muslim women who just cover themselves up because it makes them feel better about themselves. Nothing to do with being ugly. NB Headscarves/ full Hijab are the more dedicated end of the spectrum , some women just wear long sleeves and trousers etc. So don't spout shit. I always thought it was something to do with narrow eyes being like little 'chinks'. Either way, I'm pretty sure it's quite offensive.

    Guitarpro Tabs

Oh I see, fair enough I guess

    Guitarpro Tabs

What the hell?! Why would you have so many? Are there any that aren't on Ultimate-guitar? Also can anyone recommend some good (decently hard) riffage for me to learn?

    Bye Bye!

Blimey, so you're minted then? That's ace It seems a bit daft that you're allowed to ride trials in 8 weeks but you've gotta wait 6 months before you can drive. I know which one I find more strenuous!

    Bye Bye!

Mmmm, sounds nice. Are you all fixed up now then? How long until you can do stuff? Cash? How?
  14. I just use VLC. It plays everything apart from .wmv files. For those, you can use Quicktime (with the Windows plugin that phil linked to). However, I use NicePlayer, which is basically the same as Quicktime (it plays everything that QT can) but you can do fullscreen etc without paying for Quicktime Pro. But I use VLC when I can. It's much better than QT. Full screen, faster, better controls etc. EDIT: You don't need to download any codecs when you've got VLC. They're all already there (apart from wmv as I already mentioned). EDIT 2: Actually it seems that the latest version of VLC for mac does actually play wmvs. So I think that should be all you need. Hooray, I'm downloading now

    Guitarpro Tabs

Ok cool. I will investigate. I'm on a mac so I dunno if the password will be much use.

    Guitarpro Tabs

I know there's a fair few guitarists on here, so I hope someone can help me out. Basically I have seen an increasing number of guitar pro tabs cropping up on the internet. But I believe I'm right in thinking that it's software you have to pay for? What I want to know, is it any good first of all? Secondly, are there any ways around paying? I'm thinking open source alternatives etc. Does anyone use it?
  17. I imagine that is taken completely out of context though. I agree it is daft to prevent someone wearing a cross, but I'm sure there's another side to the story. I'm not dumb enough to jump to conclusions on this.
  18. You can't say that! Hinduism? Judaism? Buddhism?
  19. Yeah, you get 'stress risers' where stress is concentrated on one small area so it's more likely to form cracks etc. But these aren't really any worse than square holes or hedgehogs.

  21. Brilliant. Obviously the complete irony of your statement is lost on you. See my above post
  22. No it's not. Not in my book anyway. This whole thing is a mess because people think that there is one set of rules for 'us' and another for 'them'. I don't think that statement (^^^) is any more right or wrong than the american hick who goes on about nuking Iraq. Same thing. Neither is right.
  23. I hate the mighty mouse. Really really uncomfortable for me to use. So try it out first.

    Broken Wrist :(

It depends what you've done exactly, but bones do heal much quicker than ligaments etc. So a badly sprained wrist will take a lot longer to heal than yours (hopefully). The wires coming out is really painful apparently. But over quickly
