  1. As far as I know, you can set it up so that the Windows key becomes the cmd key, which makes sense but it's in the wrong place. Or you can swap them so that alt on the keyboard becomes cmd which more closely reflects the normal layout of the Apple keyboards. I think
  2. Since everything is compatible these days, I'd just go for a nice wireless (preferably Bluetooth) keyboard / mouse set from Logitech or (dare I say it?) Microsoft.
  3. I'm BOMBD all the time.
  4. ... And you never know what's in it because it's a made-up drug.
  5. It means he's currently too mashed to write a coherent reply?
  6. I did that the other night. It's the only time in my life I've ever done that movie cliché where you have a nightmare and wake up, sitting bolt upright in bed, sweating. Enjoy
  7. Got it online, innit.
  8. Pretty much. Trust me, I'm practically a doctor. Yeah, wannabe musicians really do suck. Especially when they harp on about it all the time.
  9. Thanks, it was a good joke.
  10. To be honest there must be some flaw with that article because it was released a week ago and I've not heard of it from the news. I think fusion is still a long way off.
  11. Hangovers are basically dehydration. Alcohol triggers a response that leads to diuresis (pissing, basically), so you excrete more fluid than you're taking on. As far as I know with pills, the risk is of over-hydration, drinking too much. This causes a dilutional hyponatraemia (low salt in your blood) which means that fluid leaves your blood and enters cells. This can lead to swelling of organs (like the brain). So they are slightly different.
  12. See, you're giving away the fact that you're not a real musician/rock star. lol at the 'druggies' comment. Do you actually know any 'druggies'? Of course not, because if you did, you wouldn't be saying this stuff. (P.S. Sorry for the inverted commas but I find 'druggies' a funny word)
  13. Obviously you don't stay up-to-date with Physicsworld http://physicsworld.com/blog/2008/05/coldf...on_a_suc_1.html
  14. I don't understand the 10p tax thing, but I'm pretty sure most of the people complaining about it don't understand it, either. As far as I understand, the people who stand to lose out are child-less couples who are low earning, because they don't qualify for tax credits in the same way as people with children. Fair enough it sucks to be them, but it's a pretty small group, but everyone seems to up in arms about it when they don't really know the whole story - they just see it as a rich vs poor thing. Which it obviously isn't because that's not what Labour are about. And I don't know what Prescott did, but I know he did more than just eat. He also punched people. Ithankyou.
  15. To be honest, I don't care. You pay peanuts, you get monkeys. I'd like to think that the people running the country were some of the most intelligent people around. And the salaries of ~300 MPs is basically nothing taken out of the big pot of cash from the millions of taxpayers. And if they're also paying for an office full of staff, it's not like they're just pocketing the dorrah?
  16. Yeah, and that's my main reasoning against coke. I know loads of people who are into it, all are rich kids and they just act like self-obsessed dicks when on it. I'm enough of a dick in real life, without coke making things worse Seriously though, coke is just bad. I've seen first hand the effects of a cocaine-induced heart attack on a 28 year old guy. He's f**ked now. People on pills (E) don't seem too bad, but I just don't like the idea of needing them to have a good night.
  17. I have no idea what you mean by that.

    Shyhop

Pfft. That's why people who ride fixies are lame. Take note, OBM
  19. Your parents have a funny sense of humour
  20. There's a lot of bullshit in this thread, split about 50-50 between: Drugs are bad, mmmmkay? Drugs are ace and they can't hurt you! I don't really care what other people do, as long as they are aware of the risks/benefits. But from this thread it's patently obviously that a lot of people don't. For the record, cocaine is one of the most dangerous drugs, it's quite scary that there are people who think it's harmless.

    Weight Loss

That's a myth propagated by the oil corporations, the fascist American government and balloon manufacturers. Helium is actually lighter because it contains lots of negative weight molecules (NWMs) - about 40 000 NWMs per mol. It's the relative density of NWMs compared to air (which has around 40 NWMs per mol) that makes helium float. If everyone knew that, we'd be able to fly everywhere in helium-filled cars, but the oil companies don't want this so they cover it up. Look it up on Wikipedia. So yeah, fill up your frame with helium at high pressure The above post is brought to you by real science fact.
  22. Er, whoa?! It was all pretty decent but nothing too out of the ordinary, then (At 3:31) he does a 180 sidehop up like 40" How?
  23. lol, as if you could ever use close to 33000 texts per month. Assuming each text takes around a minute to send, you'd spend approximately 133% of your waking life sending messages. Oh, and if Orange's texts are "limited much less", wouldn't you get more?
