The one you linked to certainly wouldn't be compatible, but the 6 speed cassette version might if you're lucky. I'm sure this question came up a while ago - use the search? Or failing that, maybe try ringing the importer?

I've never used mine with loads of proper mould, only a little bit. I doubt it'll kill you or even make you ill, but it doesn't taste too nice. I've only ever bothered using boiling hot water (straight out of the kettle) and run it through a bit. Then you can kinda roll the tube between your fingers and the sludge will come off. Watch out cos it gets hot (obviously). Or you could buy some sterilisation tablets from somewhere if you're paranoid.

Whoa, that was huge riding even by your standards. Mentalist

Hehe, people with like BMI 18, you must be well skinny. I'm usually around 23 (probably more now though...) and I'm still relatively lanky.

Of course he has a cock. You can see his bell ffs

I agree with Sayshell. Ride what you want on whatever bike you want. It's not up to other people to tell you what you can and can't ride. Obviously quite a lot of people are saying that you'd be better off on a BMX, but who cares. As much as I'd like to ride BMX, I just don't get on with them at all. If you like your bike for this sort of stuff, fair play, carry on

That's so bad. I thought the lycra was actually pink for full-on bum-boy effect. But it's just the red background reflecting. But surely if he's THAT bothered about saving weight he should ditch the iPod and watch?!

It works fine (I'm running one at the moment).

I had a virus on my memory stick which I got from a university computer (it was a computer for a microscope and intentionally left offline so it "couldn't" get viruses ). Brought it home and AVG dealt with it quickly and painlessly. My point is that even if you are clever and internet-savvy, you can get caught out. As for not needing a firewall - you sure about that? These days most people have a hardware firewall in their router. But I wouldn't like to go without that. AVG doesn't take long to update at all - maybe 5 seconds max for me. I think you can set it to scan recently-changed files (or something) on startup. That's quite slow.

... or because they wanted to stick it to the man Gordon Brown?

I thought all new 360s came with 1 month XBL Gold? Mine did. Apparently some copies of GTA IV come with another 1 month free trial, so you might have two if you're lucky. Should have at least one though.

Have you been paying attention to the USA's general election? It's like they're electing a f**king prom queen. I think Boris is funny. He's just a comedy character. I fully expect that he'll be rubbish in the job, but who cares, it'll be a laugh.

Whoa, there's still one of these alive?! Pretty sweet, nice one.

That sounds about right. It should definitely be higher than 40 ish - there must be some problem on the line. The other thing is that the upload rate seems to go down gradually. I.e. at the start of the speed test it was ~60, and at the end ~30, so 45 is the average. But if you're using it for any length of time it just plummets to basically nothing. Hmph.

Something's been corrupted in the update. Just reinstall it.

Have you actually paid for Xbox live (Gold = money, rather than silver which is free)? My NTL is so monumentally shite at the moment that I can't play any games anyway Look at the upload here:

Can we have a ban on jokes about this please. At least until someone comes up with something... you know... funny. These jokes have been rubbish.

FSA Orbit XLII or skypilot. All the headset you'll ever need.

Yeah. But he'll be dead in 15 years anyway, even if the other prisoners can't get hold of him first. I dunno, it's just so bizarre. It's just mind-boggling how he could be that evil, but more how they didn't try and escape or something. Maybe they did. I dunno.

Yeah, there's always rumours. I read that there's a new Intel chip out in June so the Macbooks will be updated with that in, but you can never really tell. 13" alu cases = smaller MBP, surely? If that's true I am sooooo getting one.

These are all rumours though - Apple never announce the new PCs until the day they're available for sale, so no one actually knows. They do have fairly consistent 'product cycles' though, so it's kinda possible to predict, but it's not an exact science: http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/#MacBook Yeah, you hit the nail on the head. It's just the paintjob. Now go away.

Pfft no it's not You can replace the hard drives on Macbooks really easily - they just slide in under the battery. So you can stick any old notebook hard drive in. Like this one: 250Gb for £57 which works out at 23p per Gb, not 75p for the Apple upgrade price

Educational discount is ~20% but you can only get on the site via your university network. Or go into an Apple shop and show them some ID. You can use any old PC USB (or bluetooth) keyboard and mouse with a mac mini, it doesn't matter although the cmd/control/alt buttons will be in the 'wrong' place (Compared to the computers at university), so for what it's worth I'd probably get a mac keyboard. The right mouse button on the mouse will work just fine (I use a logitech mouse with my mac). The 13" screen on the Macbook is widescreen, 1440 x 900 resolution. I like (Photoshop) editing on widescreen since you can have your palettes at the side and a nice square area in the middle for your image. The macbook screen is glossy and the colours look really nice on it but you might have problems with reflections. Some people prefer the gloss, some don't. I quite like it. Of the two, I'd go for the lowest Macbook. £200 more, but take away the cost of a screen, keyboard AND you get a slightly better spec than the mini (faster CPU) and it's portable. If you really didn't care about portability and wanted a computer solely for image editing, I'd get the mini and a decent 20-22" widescreen. Actually I wouldn't, I'd get a PC but there you go... Really? I've got the same and it's so slow for Photoshop. My older PC is many, many times faster. Don't get me wrong, I really like the little 12" PB, but a workhorse it ain't. EDIT: This is off topic anyway cos the Macbooks are way more powerful than a Powerbook.
