  1. Should be a lot less than that. I got a 20-in-1 card reader a couple of years ago for £4, it's LOADS faster than copying through the camera. Card readers are well worth having.
  2. Sweet, no sign of anything fluoro Perhaps you need to set your screen up properly. Pictures work fine for me

    Tomm's New Video

Haha cheers. It's not really a 'rail', it's wider than it looks on video Camera was my girlfriend's canon HV20. Beasty camera, does loads of stuff but I was just using the basic point and shoot stuff.

ROFL!! SENIOR MEMBER APRIL FOOLS PWNAGE FOR THE WIN RETARDS!!
  8. 150mm is total overkill on a street bike, or any hardtail in fact - let alone a trials bike. Don't do it, please!
  9. How tall are you? Unless you're really small, you'll most likely get used to the length of the Czar, but it might take a few rides.
  10. Nooooo, leopard has annoyed me with plugging in Cameras. On Tiger when you plugged in a camera, the card would show up in finder and you could just drag and drop which was much better than having to use the Canon software. But on Leopard they've changed it so CF cards no longer show up in finder when you plug in the camera. Annoying. To be honest it doesn't make very much difference to me, because I always use a card reader. But still...
  11. I like the idea of that headlock thing you posted. I can't see why you would need a 280mm version though?
  12. It does sound like overheating, yes. If it's old, take it apart and clean all the dust out of it, or use a can of compressed air or something. Well, assuming that the hard drive is not the cause of your problems (!) - Yes, it should be possible. You can get USB to IDE and USB to SATA connectors, or you can buy an external hard drive enclosure for laptop drives. So there are ways. But it sounds like you should probably back things up now anyway though.
  13. Nah, if it's a really thick steerer there won't be enough space to the side. I've tried. Someone did an awesome bodge where they drilled a hole through the bottom of the stem and steerer (just above the top headset race). Run the cable through there - it goes under the star nut! I'm not sure if I explained that very well. Also you have to be pretty brave to drill a hole through your steerer tube
  14. Oh sorry, I didn't realise street = barspins But seriously, is a push-in seat going to be any use at all for barspins/no handers/whatever?
  15. But then people would start on 0% - 'scammer'? I reckon something like this, or just have it like eBay has it - a percentage AND a number. So I'd have "100% positive (2)". If anyone had less than 100%, you'd know to look in their feedback as they've obviously had a negative at some point. But it would be diluted by positive feedback - so if someone sold 20 things and there was a problem with one of them, They'd have "95% positive (20)".
  16. Try again Prawny EDIT: Oops, too slow. Oh well.
  17. Yeah, I don't really get why people are complaining that the 24UK is too low. It does feel a bit different having a seat, and I suppose some people might argue that they actually find it useful. But I suspect it's mainly a cosmetic thing
  18. I've got a mate who swears by VW Caddys. Carries 4 mountain bikes with no wheels removed - how long are MTBs compared with motorbikes? It might just be long enough? They're obviously a bit smaller than your average transit van, but that makes them easier to drive and more economical. Just an option. I'd have a VW Transporter or a Vito I reckon. Rob Poyser (I think) was selling a vito on here a while back, I think it was £4k he wanted. EDIT: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=115002 £4.5k. Pretty high mileage though.
  19. I don't know if this is just me, but one of the feedback links is broken. If I click in the red circle (Either beside someone's post or when viewing their profile), I get the error message at the bottom of the pic. If I click the purple link, it works fine and takes me to that person's feedback.
  20. Yeah that would be fine but I think those are aimed at preventing cables being damaged. In terms of lever feel and power, get some Odyssey Linear Slick cable if you can, failing that, maybe Avid Full Metal Jackets. To be honest it doesn't make a huge amount of difference. Buying the BB7 is 90% of the way to a great front brake, cables really don't make THAT much difference to power, only 'feel'.

    Oil + Pc = Work?

That's an interesting thought. Use the convection currents to pipe the hot oil around your radiator
  22. That's a load of shit then, because the guy came across when he was 8 (in the 60s). So he didn't cost the UK any money in hospitals etc when he was born (which is quite a lot of money), had a few years of schooling, but he's worked for over 30 years in the UK. Which is more than you or me. Just sayin'.
  23. I run a BMX chain with my King, I'm not sure why you need to run a freewheel just to use BMX chains?
  24. See you in a week, too.
