  1. 7:32.. All I could think was 'don't you know who you're talking to love?'
  2. Yeah Because 24". At the time they were the cheapest by a long way. Nice feel and really stiff.
  3. Haha yeah that's right. I've probably ridden twice since then! I loved that Marino, just wasn't having any fun on it! Plus needed to waste my money on something! Need to get back over to Leeds again some time.
  4. I got a lot of help in building this from looking at other people's, so thought it was only right to share mine. Nothing special but rides like a dream! Can put up spec if anyone's interested. Will NOT be removing stickers or grinding rims, and that's that! This is probably the last trials bike I'll ever buy as life has taken over. Good one to end on I reckon! Ta Oli
  5. 1 min 30 of video before anything remotely interesting happens. This has to be a record right? Big moves, clean, nice.
  6. Yeah that was pretty hot! I really wanted to see that up to front and over the slide barrier line nailed though.
  7. Thanks to everyone for the answers! Have ordered a centre-toothed sprocket and a 3/32 chain + Tarty are happy to the return of the sprocket. Gutted I can't ride my new set up for the bank holiday weekend but always a good to do it right rather than bodge it! Ta Oli
  8. Hi all, Have a look at the pics attached. Just finished building my Echo 24 and noticed the chain is brushing up against the inside of the chainstay. Echo Hub with TT 14t sprocket rear, TT forged cranks with Tarty bashring and Try-all freewheel up front. Everything looks right, chain line is perfect but this is not! Am I doing something wrong, do I need a thinner chain, does the chain need a bit of slack, has anyone else had this issue? Ta! Oli
  9. Hey hey, If it helps ill be selling my Marino 24" Inspired Fourplay Geo frame in chocolate brown, in about a week. Only been ridden about 8-10 times gently. Interested? Oli
  10. Manchester is a bit sparse compared to Leeds but there are some really good spots. Seems to be a bit of a 'scene' building so get over!

I kept making bets with myself when you'd be finishing a line/combo. I rarely won! Crackin'!
  12. I've just convinced myself to not get one of these to replace my Marino. This has blown it wide open again! Also, sorry to repeat everyone else, but there's something about those tyres that make me a little weak at the knees! Oli
  13. Hey all, If the weather isn't shite tomorrow night (Wednesday) a few people should be out in Manchester area. More the merrier! Oli
  14. oHoncho... It can take a day or a month or year; depends who's teaching you! It's not about being at a decent standard it's about getting out and learning from each other. Get out on the organised rides now and you'll get a lot better a lot quicker. Rich, I'm definitely up for a ride tomorrow but possibly not Blackpool due to transport issues. Definitely need to get up there soon though it looks ace.
  15. I tend to shrink in the rain. Can't reach the pedals. Would've been hopeless! Rich, I'm about indefinitely so let's get a ride organised even if monsieur Konstant does have to disappear for a month or so. We need to work on finding some new spots. Not exactly stuck for choice at the moment
  16. So... People out tonight? Picadilly at 7?
  17. Hola, Yeah Wednesday (tomorrow) would be crackin' for me. Would've done tonight but about to get tucked up in bed with me slippers and a coco so a bit late. Anyone checking this thread got a spare rear Maggie or a chunk of tar?
  18. Enjoyed that. Some good lines and interesting shots. Camera definitely looks like it does the job! Got to be honest though I'm getting really sick of that song being in 80% of videos released at the moment!! Ja
  19. This is what riding bikes is all about. Loved it, and that editing transition at 1:14 was so subtle! I wish I could make/be in a vid like this!
  20. Yeah, big sidehops, but that video was dull as hell! Furthermore, it's not piracy that's killing the music industry, it's the fact that music like that is allowed to be produced!
  21. So good to watch! Really creative lines and crackin' bag of tricks! You can see an instant boost in style and smoothness when you switch frames. Interesting little case study.
  22. Nice one!.. Good job at 2:19 with the camerawork!
  23. CrackIn' vid, really relaxing to watch. Always appreciate the artsy vids but I'll never back down on wanting just a slightly higher percentage of riding. It's great to watch a rider that has a permanent smile on their face! Should come and ride Manchester some time (when it's dry, if ever)
