I really enjoyed that Joe. Some real technical lines there, very impressive. I liked how it was filmed too, seemed very professional.
-
I would go for the one on Pink Bike, like you say it's cheaper plus it has a good spec to start with.
-
Yeah PinkBike can be a pain like that with know one wanting to post their bikes. Well I hop you find something at the right price soon. Where abouts are you located? Perhaps you should put a topic up looking for a riders near to your location, it's always nice to ride with people, it makes riding more fun and helps to learn from one another.

I had one of these frames, they are pretty nice, especially for someone new to the sport. The parts look in great condition, though it seems the guy has bought the most expensive parts he could, not because they are the best but it seems because they are expensive. I agree with Azarathal, there's no harm in trying to get it cheaper. The things i personally would want to know is what are the forks and if that white scratch in the rim is not a crack. It's best to be certain. For a beginner the spec will be fine for quite a while, although the Shimano DX freewheel is not designed for trials use or ideal for trials. I would highly recommend you upgrade that to any of these freewheels, though if your happy to spend the money I would suggest the ECHO SL 108. Personally from reading the auction, the guy sounds a bit up himself. The reason he has come across so many trials bikes with bodges, is most likely because the owners can't afford to fix or replace like he clearly can. Also the way he has relied to you with regards to the fact that if you can not afford it then it's not meant to be, that's just not nice. If you are willing to spend £400 to £600 for a 26" trials bike, then I would recommend you buy one from here. They will be used, but some are in great condition. I personally wouldn't buy anything from this guy. here's a few bikes that might take your interest:

I suggest Sunday 13th May Portsmouth Guildhall. It's the day before the anniversary.
-
That last clip must have been the .8 then
-
I enjoyed it Joe, but why did you call 51.8?
-
That's silly light, but it does look nice with all those little attention to detail parts.
-
I've downloaded the file, but don't seem to be able to play the game. Does it matter that I'm using a Mac?

I thoroughly enjoyed that Iolo, it was great seeing not just the riding but the different places and great surroundings. I think your efforts have been greatly appreciated. Only problem with it is that no doubt everyone now wants to go over there and ride all these places, I know I do.

Was gutted by this as I never got the chance to go, then they moved and it look rubbish in comparison to previous years.

Hi all, I am posting this on behalf of Peter Cole. He has recently posted up on Facebook some pictures and a good write up of a product he has been working on for awhile now. Here is Peter's write up: Hi guys, i've been sat on this idea for a while now and i've fianlly got round to producing a prototype with some amazing results thus far. Thoughts welcome. - The unique Integrated Booster & Brake Clamp design reduces weight, flex and increases strength by removing the need for traditionally required long flexi bolts and spacers. - Frame remains under a consistent minimised flex distortion even when the rear wheel is extended in horizontal dropouts. - Lowest Booster/brake clamp profile all while increasing brake power and feel. - Excellent internal Booster profile minimises stress and thus flex with a reinforced wall rib structure. - Machined pockets in the Booster and Clamps to reduce weight whilst retaining crucial rigidity. - CNC machined from high grade billet Aluminium 6061-T6 - Includes chamfered and round edges throughout to reduce weight and sharp edges to hands. - Wide profile to protect cross-over pipes on HS33/ECHO brakes (136mm at it's widest point) - For use with dedicated 4-bolt Magura Mounts - 100mm spacing only (centre-to-centre of bolt holes) - Increased thickness around clamp radius to reduce deformation if over tightened. - Clamp design increases clamping force and removes the need for plastic cylinder washers, all you do it clamp your cylinders down and the brakes are automatically set up squarely! (Providing your frame mounts are square.) - Extra long slots (2mm longer) for more adjustment. - Compatible with all Magura HS33 and ECHO Hydraulic brakes cylinders - Weight: 146g (26" version, without bolts) Any questions, feel free to pm Peter at his Facebook address - https://www.facebook...hp?id=513434259 or discuss it here with your points of view, comments and criticisms. Thanks for reading.

Looking For Riders Near Worthing [Not A Ride]
Nick Manning replied to dannytrialskid's topic in Member Organised Rides
I'm in Woking, about 8 miles north from Hook Woods. -
Surprised i've not seen this before, but I have signed and made it 113.
-
I enjoyed that Joe, there was some nice flow with the riding and editing. It did start off with a lot of up to fronts but that fizzled out abit, some big moves there. Some clear improvement going on from each video. Keep up the great riding mate.

Nice looking and nice to ride

After watching the video, the pads look like they work really well. I didn't notice them slip at all and appeared to be pretty responsive with holding. Your riding in the video was pretty advanced so it looks like the pads will suited to all riders. At the end of the video you are riding in a lot of water, the pads still seem to hold well but I wonder if the performance had dropped once being wet.
-
No, the graphics are different because mine is an older tyre. My tyre is this one. It is lighter than the one you have linked too and is folding rather than a wire bead, mine also has a softer compound for better grip.

Yaabaa 1499 - Replacement Frame For My Echo Pure
Nick Manning replied to Nick Manning's topic in Bike Pictures
It was a lovely frame to ride and I am gutted it snapped. Though I had owned/used it for about 10 months, so I think I got my monies worth. -
I was very fortunate to find the following day after my Echo Pure frame snapped, this Yaabaa 1499 being sold by STEVE-O (Steve Rogers). 24 hours after the frame snapped, my bike is all back to gether and rideable. I have not actually ridden it yet, but here is a picture of how it looks.
-
I have had no tyre clearance issues what so ever. My only problem has been with the cranks rubbing the Magura cylinders with wide brake pads fitted.
-
Not sure the down tube being carbon could take much abuse. I also don't think there is enough frame material to bond the carbon too, if there is then could make for a great potential. Can't see it lasting, but would certainly look really nice. Thanks Dave, glad I finally made it, just a shame a certain Geroge Edwards didn't have hi camera out. Actually it's rabbits, they give me my spring.
-
I'm not buying anything new as funds don't allow, though I have sourced myself a Yaabaa 1499 and a Ozonys XS26, unsusre which to go for at the moment.
