  1. That's a relief, I thought it was a dress code, no santa outfit no ride
  2. Still can't believe how well you nailed that up to front, was so big. You were definitely riding that frame very well, not bad for a morning build.
  3. Are you guys actually being serious? I maybe coming along, but I dont have any Santa clothing.
  4. Who the hell is that trials noobie guy. Pretty harsh comments from him. If you dont like a video, fair enough, just say you didn't enjoy it, as someone has said, no need for nasty comments. Anyway, looked like a fun trip Scott, I'm pretty jealous to be fair, would have loved to have gone, maybe next time. I think trip videos are only funny'interesting to those that were there, but that's pretty much always going to be that way. I'm looking forward to what footage you have of us and how it comes together. Hopefully we'll get some good videos out next year.
  5. It 's gone a little . This is gonna be a sweet ride, My last Leeds ride with Flipp and Kyle was a bit of a fail (wet weather), and the last time I rode Leeds before that was when the xmas ride was on the day after boxing day back in 2005 I think.
  6. I'm sticking the bike rack on so 4 people and 4 bikes is no problem, 5 how ever, I'll need to take the smallest one apart ie: 24" to fit it in the boot, but I reckon it's possible.
  7. So your out too Flip? Hope we get more ride time this time round.
  8. Looks like I may be coming and bringing Jules Roberts and Kyle Livesey. It's something £4 to park in the long stay station car park, so I'm parking there, what time does the ride start? I'm guessing 11.
  9. I could be up for this Ben, pretty much just weather dependant for me.
  10. I enjoyed that Joe, looks like the frame is already doing you well, some real nice lines there, but unfortunately Youtube have disabled your music which is a shame.
  11. I wouldn't consider myself to have OCD, but I do have a thing with volume on any electrical item especially in vehicles. It has to be on an even number or 5, I have no idea why, but if I know the volume isn't on an even number or 5 then I can't stop thinking about it about and the urge to change it so it is correct for me get's overwhelming if someone else is driving as I know they'll laugh at me for it. Also when shopping I cannot take the first 2/3 products if it can be helped. I have this theory that the first product will have been picked up by various people before me, looked at tit, then decided they don't want it and put it back. But then I think what if someone else thinks this and so takes the 2nd or 3rd product behind the first, look at it then put it back. So because of this I take from further back. No idea why I think that, but I do and can't help but do it.
  12. Jennifer has recently finished uni and has set up a website as a portfolio of all her designs and the clothing she has created, she has also recently had a photo shoot for her brand and clothing. check them out here Jennifer Hope
  13. Kyle and i are down with Leeds, Kyle has been there this year so he should remember the spots.
  14. I've not ridden Leeds in years, and quite up for that.
  15. Short notice, but myself, Kyle Livesey and Phil Pearce are heading up to York to pick a van up. As we're up that way we figured we go for a ride, so anyone up for it? Probably looking at Leeds or something, street wise, unless there's great natural. Only considering places that are south from York as we'll be heading home in the evening. Decided on Leeds now. We wont be there till 1:30pm at the earliest unfortunately. Anyone that wants to get hold of me, my number is 07584305086
  16. Impressive stuff, good to see Luke improving loads, that nice hop was pretty big Luke. Dan you made you sidehop look small, still loving how smooth you are.
  17. Which brakes to use are purely down to personal preference. A disc brake on the front will allow for better modulation for tricks such as stoppies (rolling forwards on the front wheel only). With a Magura (hydraulica rim brake) there is little to know modulation on most set ups, though this can depend on which pads are being used and whether the rim has been ground (roughened up with a angle grinder). As your son rides a bmx I expect his brakes are not that sharp, so either would be good. Cable disc brakes are not very powerful (excluding Avid BB7, set up correctly this is very powerful), but for someone first starting out in trials they are adequate. I would try and go for a bike with hydraulic rims brakes ( Magura HS33), or hydraulic disc brakes or Avid cable discs. I think you are better holding out for a mod with hydraulic brakes.
  18. I think I have a helicoil kit, not sure how your gonna fix it in the middle of town though, lol.
  19. Sean borrowed my camera recently and filmed some bits. Here's what he filmed.
