  1. Cheers Nick, mind you that was quite a few years ago, lol.
  2. No they have not been photo shopped Brian, remember it's been quite awhile since you last saw me. Though I do still have a but if a belly I was ment to put 23rd October. Cheers, I got the riding by the stairs on video, I'm currently making a video, though it is taking ages. Might see if I have enough to footage and get it up today. I measured it yesterday, the wheelbase is 1085
  3. Mike and I ride for MAD, so obviously were going at there great bikes, but in all fairness they are great bikes. As standard you will want to change the rear hub to something like a hope pro 2 or a fixed hub and change the cranks to run a front freewheel. Mike runs a hope pro 2 on his and I ran a front freewheel. As for the brake pads, well there is plenty of choice available. I would recommend Phat Pads, but if they are out of your budget, then try Tartybikes, they have a good range of pads. The phase bikes are old now so you can pick them up at bargain prices, just search online. As for are they good starter bikes, well yes they, if you go for the 1.2 it comes as standard with a pair of magura hs33 brakes and a trials set up. They are fully capable of being ridden by a new rider or an experienced. Just check out pictures and videos of myself, Mike and the rest of the MAD team riding them. I personally wouldn't pay more for the 1.1 one, you get same brakes, essentially better cranks and different bar and stem. Most of us preferred the the bar and stem from the 1.2. There's not a lot of difference between the two, as Mike said your best of saving some money and spend it on improving the rear hub and brake pads of the 1.2
  4. Now now, Danny is not a freak! He is clearly a machine built on the isle of Skye
  5. I can see where your coming from, and I would go with him being a pioneer at being able to bring all the different aspects of riding together. Because of what he is doing in this video, it does seem like he'd be shit hot on a free ride bike down some decent north shore, as well riding a park on a bmx. He just seems to have the skills to do it. Whether he could do it on the appropriate bikes is another thing. I think a lot is assumed, just because he's riding a 24" opposed to a stock or mod and that he's riding street opposed to natural or tgs doesn't necessarily mean that he's not fully capable of competing with the top riders, i mean his style would differ quite a lot. He may only be good at doing what he does on his 24", if that's the case, fair play to him being able to do pretty much any riding discipline on the one bike. Either way, I see Danny as pushing the boundaries of what can be done, it's inspiring and entertaining.
  6. Myself and Adrian Jordan are from Woking. There are also a couple other rider's in Woking.
  7. Helmets I understand, as everyone should wear a helmet anyway. But pads for what is essentially cycling, I doubt many people have pads, I certainly don't. Surely helmet and gloves is substantial enough for us.
  8. Couldn't have calibrated the kinect sensor properly. Mine is spot on, the lighting does effect it, but it does recommend you play at morning, mid-day and night, so it can get used to the different lighting so it can perform at its best each time you use it.

  10. Searched this on the net, found a website with pictures of the plans and pictures of the progress, but there is no mention of anything trials nor Is there anything on the plans.
  11. I've got Kinect and Kinect Sports and Kinect Adventures. Played it a fair bit, and I think it's great, fun on your own and even more fun if playing with others. There are limited games available currently, but more will come out over time. Hands down this is better than the Wii!
  12. Looking good Dan, looks smart and well spec'd.
  13. Awww Ali, just means you gotta push yourself more to catch up, lol. Your not doing too bad based on yesterday, though you gotta have some pretty big balls to front flip on a off a roof with no ramp.
  14. It's been quite some time since I put any pictures up, so thought I would stick some recent ones up. I'm currently riding a Zoo Piranha frame, with full bike weighing in a 9kg. All of these were from the London ride on the 23rd October, pictures were taken by Vasil. These were taken from a demo at Wembley stadium for the NFL game, by Si Sagar and Mike singleton.
  15. Ali I reckon we will be there 5/6 that's normally when were shattered. Kieran get a train up, you'll love it. Azarathal, I'm getting a lift with Jonny Jones, so you'd need to speak to him, as I don't know about space.
  16. Yeah Si Sagar had organised it and put the event on facebook, but on Friday he did his back in and was unable to move, but he saw a chiropractor yesterday and it helped, but he still not ready to ride. Singleton was gonna come but has got loads of uni to work to do, so I thought I'd put it up on here, as know one else has. Would be cool if you could make it Ali, get to see what you missed out on last time
  17. Is anyone else having problems with trials forum. I was writing a topic, and when I clicked on insert link, nothing happening, no loading nothing. Then on another topic I was trying to upload some images, I could chose my file, but again when selecting attach files nothing happened. I am using Google Chrome, but I did also try with internet explorer and had the same problem. Any one able to help?
  18. Hi guy's a few of us are riding Corby today, unfortunately the organiser has had to bail out, as have a few others due to uni commitments. I've been away all weekend, but have just got home, and thought it'd be an idea to see if anyone wants to come along, don't worry if you don't think your good enough or anything like that. It's a great laugh and being as it's a week day it's quiet. Were getting there for 12 mid-day. Here's a link to the facebook page set up for it http://www.facebook....6481227&index=1
  19. Rusevelt, I never realised there was so much great stuff to ride in South East London, definitely going to have make a trip over soon.
  20. Well it's certainly bright, looks good though.
  21. That looks really nice Mark, so stealthy.
  22. Makes sense, along with that don't use DOT fluid either, as I believe the DOT fluid will just eat away the seals. You can use mineral from Halfords, it's cheaper than Magura royal blood, I think's It's could LHM or Citroen brake fluid.
  23. All Maguras come as standard with Magura Royal Blood (mineral oil) and cannot be used with DOT fluid, as for using water in there disc brakes, I'm not sure. I use water in my MAgura HS33 as do most people, but I don't know if it would work in a Magura disc.
