  1. Kirkwall had some pretty sweet stuff to ride, shame about the wind making it hard to nail some of the lines.
  2. I bought the SL freewheel last week, arrived Saturday, put some copper grease on crank threads, screwed the freewheel on and went riding at barrow farm in Sunday. It's very loud and so far so good has worked extremely well, already doing big gaps putting it under pressure, and it has had no effect on the freewheel. Love it.
  3. As it's a couple days away, I'll spill the location. The location is Adrenalin Alley, Corby, Northamptonshire. If you wanna get in on the private session, then please send me a message. Cheers
  4. Had a great time today, glad I came along.
  5. Sounds like a good day, just been on Radical Bikes website, will we have to pay the £7 to ride for the day? BBC are claiming the weather will be sunny. I'll see if I can round a few guys up.
  6. Hence the message me for details if interested, as we want it to be a small ride.
  7. Hey all, wasn't intending on putting this on the forum, but as people have pulled out, we need to increase numbers for our event. Ian Johnstone and I have organised a private park session for Thursday 26th next week. we are booking it for 1 hour for a private session, There are currently 9 riders going, at a cost of about £15 each plus an additional £5 if we want to stay for the rest of the day. We can only have 15 riders max, so there is space for another 6 riders. We want to keep the ride small, so if your interested in the event, then please mail myself or Ian for info. Cheers Nick
  8. Hi Ryan, is there anything you have in mind that you would like to change? You can pretty run whatever you like on the Phase bikes, just like any other trials bike. I myself run the standard frame, fork, bar and stem. Then upgraded parts are Echo TR hubs on Dob rim front and Onza Reggie rear rim, try-all cranks with front freewheel, rear fixed cog with Echo TR tensioner, hs 33 rear brake with Magura CNC lever, Avid Juicy 7 front brake, Wellgo Magnesium pedals, trialtech rear booster, FSA headset, Schwalbe Big Betty rear tyre and Schwalbe Nobby Nic front tyre. Hope that helps. Some of the other team members run Hope Pro 2 hubs and then a similar set up to myself.
  9. Anyone about tomorrow 11/08/10 as myself, Andy Walker and Tim Stedman will be passing through. If anyone is, feel free to send me a text 07584305086
  10. is in Reading tomorrow and Preston Sunday, going to be a busy weekend.

  11. Temples Meads car park if on a weekend, pretty cheap for all day parking.
  12. Your not a local, you just wish you were because Essex don't want you
  13. You best spots will be Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth and Poole for street and Milford on sea and Barton on sea for natural.
  14. I do't think it does go on anymore. The only thing is the cycle show at earls court.
  15. Wow, such a talented rider. I agree with some of the other comments quite trialsy but a great difference. I loved it. That fakie roll off the slope to 180 on to bench was pretty swish.
  16. i don't think it's a case of you liking a bit of danger, I think you are just generally dangerous, hence the bbq comment, lol.
  17. Your post comes across as your trying to sell it, with out actually saying your selling it. I'm sure this will still be against the rules as a new member. don't be surprised if the topic get's locked.
  18. Yea Adrian and I are still riding tonight. I know there's various rider's in the Surrey area, would be nice if they came out too.
  19. I got to say that video was pretty good and inspiring. Danny is one lucky guy, getting to ride with the legend Hans Rey and a Steve Peat a world class DHer.
  20. I agree here, my girlfriend and I have moved from Dorset to Surrey recently, her was parked on the drive in Dorset, but in Surrey it's parked on the road, this has put her insurance up slightly. Insurance companies will look at area information such as: amount of accidents in your area amount of accidents from your age group and sex. amount of car theft's/vandalism in your area All of the above are taken in to account when you are getting a quote, this is why 2 people of the same age and sex and exactly same car could get two different quotes.
  21. Cheer's I'll probably only be able to make Southend night and London. But it'll still be a blast
  22. Anyone know the locations yet? I would like to attend, but it's probably gonna be a bit costly, but I'd be happy if I can make a few.
  23. We'd not even gotten out of Wales and everyone in the car was asleep, I wasn't in a rush so was only doing about 60 most the way back, you had better aero dynamics than me, so by the time we got to the M6 toll you were bound to catch up, plus if I remember I think we got stuck in a little traffic on the M6 towards the toll
