  1. Vauxhall is better/nicer than Merc
  2. Depends on locations Premier inn's are from £50 depending on the night and you can generally turn up on the day and book, but you do run a risk of there being no space at the inn. Yeah I know Luke fair is fair, not looking forward to the 400 mile drive to join everyone. Luke you best have a nice cold beer waiting for me Are you after space or offering? If you after, I have space, but only from Portsmouth to the end.
  3. At 2:20am Ash it is very doubtful as most people are asleep. Were you just bored?
  4. Easily the green one. That black is flipping hideous, makes me feel sick.
  5. You do have a slight problem with trying to tap on that frame. The frame's bb rise is very high which is great for sidehops, but for taps it's a little too high. This isn't to say you can't tap your bike high, it just means you may find it harder than on a bike with a lower bb rise. I recommend hitting your front wheel into the wall lower than you normally would, this should help you drive the bike up so you can get your rear wheel to the top.
  6. As it's your first trials bike you don't need anything spectacular parts wise. I recommend the Phase 1.2 I've found it here click me This is right on your budget, but the spec is pretty good, the bike is fairly light and it comes with hydraulic rim brakes. If you search through the videos section and look for videos by Rich Pearson, he rides the 1.3 it's a cheaper version of the 1.2, but you can see how it can be ridden and what can be done on it.
  7. Sounds like a plan Simpson. Right well I have 2 places in by car from Reading to the end, maybe 3, need to confirm with Rob Brodie. Would help out loads if I could fill the seats.
  8. Nice link, but that's not the ad I saw. The one I saw had loads of different cyclists aswell 1 clip of Andrei sidehopping over that a frame sign and 1 clip of Danny doing a tailwhip from static.
  9. I saw it over the weekend, it is Danny Macaskill and the first rider is Andrei Burton. Sky are doing events in Manchester, Glasgow, Leicester, London and I think somewhere else, can't remember though.
  10. For the demo it's Ian Drummond, Brett Penfold and myself. I'l try and get Brett up, but doubt he'll come.
  11. Nathan has got a Peugeot 306 I think it's a phase 1.
  12. We should all feel privileged to be in his presence
  13. Cool, well I'm in Glasgow on the 23rd Sunday doing a demo on the Clyde, looking at driving up Friday after work, so will be about from Friday night onwards. Going home after the demo, Gotta be back on the south coast Monday morning for the 24 tour. I rode Glasgow 2 years ago with Ross McArthur, but that's the only ride I've been on in Scotland before, so game for anywhere nearby.
  14. I'm heading upto Glasgow for the 23rd August from Bournemouth, so Will be in the area on the Saturday. Looking for somewhere to ride. Hope there's some people about.
  15. If it's possible to get a blast on the set up. then I'l definately come up.
  16. There's quite a few places to ride in Poole as Steve said. You got the quayside, the rocks by the sea towards the skatepark, there's the rocks by Asda, The whole length of the high street, including the area in front of Subway/Sainsbury's, Falkland square, either side of the train station, the benches outside of the lighthouse (poole arts centre).
  17. I'm able to give lift's to people, if needs be i'l get a bike rack so the car has plenty of space for people. I'l be on from Monday till the end of the tour, only missing Southend and London.
  18. Any chance of it being Reading before Portsmouth? Don't fancy driving from Glasgow to Pompey to then go back up to Reading. Looking forward to this.
  19. Bout time we saw him on a bike again, it's been long over due.
  20. He'll want water, so everything is more responsive and has a quicker response during use. At least we should have nothing to worry about now, or in the future. Terry has shown him self to be a tough soldier, and it seems will not let anything get on the way of his day to day business, especially not a heart attack. Good on him, inspiration for all me thinks.
  21. I'm loving Terry's sense of humour. Its great to hear that he could be home by the weekend, just hope he takes it easy when he does get home.
  22. How do you mean big riders? I wouldn't class swindlehurst as a big rider. Either way what does it matter if riders have quit or not? There are plenty of videos out there for inspiration, and in all fairness if your after inspiration then get out on rides, ride with new people and new places.
