  1. No problem, just couldn't see myself being compared to Arnie, I know my shoulders are big and to be completely honest they are that way because of 12 years of trials riding and nothing else. Unfortunately my torso is the issue which has resulted in the road bike, hopefully by the spring I'll have shed some weight and be some what fitter
  2. I'm not even going to watch this, because you releasing a video so frequently means there's nothing new to see from you, especially when it's always of Barrow. Try riding somewhere different, might make your videos worth watching!
  3. Haha I think you've been watching way too many Arnie films, I'm definitely not built like Arnie.
  4. So I knew nothing about this topic until Chris McClelland put it on Facebook, and I've got a few responses. It's certainly not 'I like how the lycra feels against my skin. Like Dan has said for himself, I decided to get a road bike for fitness, not to maintain but improve. People tell me running and swimming are better than cycling for fitness. I feel like I'm going to collapse after 2 miles of running, and swimming, well I do about a length of a pool rest, do another then i'm done. I do not have the fitness/stamina or leg muscle for running or swimming, so I decided why not just cycle lots of miles. The benefit of a road bike is that you don't need to go anywhere to ride it, your terrain is right on your doorstep. As for the lycra it makes you more aerodynamic and I find prevents me from sweating so much (or at least notice i'm sweating so much), as the lycra seems to keep you cool. It also makes cycling miles on a road bike easier as the wind cannot catch anything, plus you can have some nice padded lycra shorts. I'm not sure why Brad, hopefully I've have come across as friendly and approachable rather than the above. Joe your such a stalker! Thanks Dave. Maybe in the summer, but for the winter and those colder days wearing compression clothing is a real benefit. It is tight round your body but stretches everywhere, allowing you to warm up from your activity, warming your body up externally, internally and importantly warming your muscles up. The compression clothing then helps to keep your muscles warm whilst performing your activity thus preventing you from pulling muscles or having any strains. So you may well feel that we are pansy's, but it is us that are looking after our muscles and maintaining our performance without injury.
  5. I too would like to know where I placed, as Joe say's short of people's actual feedback, knowing where you ranked from the judges views would help to know (assuming points where given on riding, filming and editing and then added for a total) where the rider can improve. I also think it would be great to see if I had beaten Joe Maher sounds like car, it's doubtful but would make my day.
  6. I've just moved back, after 3 years working away.

  8. Not to the extent of what Martyn is doing in this video. I think they were doing off road riding and maybe a couple endos.
  9. That's good to know, will these be for sale anytime soon. Do you know if any of the above companies have tried or considered a disc version, or would it not be suitable for a carbon fork?
  10. Doing some miles for a commute, starting off in Bournemouth, ending up in Bristol and finishing on a golf course somewhere. So there's Chris Akrigg doing it all on a soft tail, and now there is Martyn doing it all on a road bike, who's going to take on the challenge of the tandem?
  11. Sod all the other Get creative entries here is the sponsored winter I'm impressed the bike held up to what he put it through, some ballsy lines on a trials bike let alone a road bike.
  12. The Karbon forks on Cap's bike are looking good, how long has he been using them? Do they still have the same issues as before where Carthy's broke? Matt just kills anything in his path, would love to know his secret. Ali was slick as usual, half expected to see you riding your bike Mark.
  13. Matt I have one question. When will you be doing another video? I enjoyed this, you have a really smooth style. If you don't have another one out soon, perhaps I'll see you at the Plymouth xmas ride.
  14. Send me a message and we'll try and sort something out.
  15. I don't like it, it's looks boring. You Rockman is so much nicer. Hope this rides well for you though.
  16. Some nice riding there Patt. Hopefully come back to the Uk for a ride or two soon.

I was looking forward to seeing your vid Nick, have to say I watched Sean Watson's first and this in my opinion blows his out the water. So combo tricks and that sick manual at mini Lloyds. Loved the first song, the second was odd but I liked how it gave an old school feel to it. WINNER!
  18. It's good to put a face to the username. As with everyone else that was enjoyable to watch, the fact to didn't make every line is irrelevant because you can see your enjoying yourself throughout the video.
  19. That was some nice riding, as others have said your riding flowed really nicely as did the music.
  20. This goes out to ALL the EBTC riders from old to present (particularly reaching out to the old). Radical Bikes is hosting a day of fun on bikes and social catch up for Dave Bradley. Details below from Radical Bikes - Maria and Mick Mitchell. Essex Bike Trial Club Dave’s Retirement As some of you may know, Dave is retiring. He has been the Essex Bike Trial Club Secretary for 25 years. So, as a farewell to Dave, the EBTC is having a Fun Day on 21st October 2012 at Radical Bikes. It wi...

  21. Well I didn't!! Only joking mate, I see you stuck with the original song Still doesn't do it for me, but the riding, filming and editing were great Joe. My favourite clip was at 5:08 so pro
  22. I have to say that was good to watch Leon. I agree with JD, I was getting that Trialskings feeling and I loved it. It was great how both yours and Joe Maher's videos used the same locations yet you have two completely different videos that are both enjoyable. Nice one Leon and though with you it is known about you I still got to say Some of those bails looked a little nasty.
  23. It is a concern which is being kept in the back of my mind ) Another rider I know (Steve Rogers) has a Echo Pure which cracked ont he down tube where mine snapped, Jaf Bikes welded that up and carbon wrapped that area, and he has been riding it for some time with out any issues as fa as I am aware. I feel quite confident it should last awhile, if not I can always go back to my Piranha.
  24. Wish it was up on Vimeo so I could view it at work. Sounds to be a good watch though.
