  1. Off to the midlands for a nice weekend away of riding and seeing friends.

  2. Just seen this from Maria (Radical Bikes) Please can you all get involved and share, especially if you have been to the Radical Bikes centre and seen what brilliant things Mick Mitchell and Maria Mitchell have done. *Ok guys, if you like what Mick Mitchell has created at Radical Bikes, now's your chance to say thank you. Please vote for him in our local paper's Sports Awards for 2012. He is in the 'Unsung Hero' category along with 8 others. There is a voting system. You can either send in th...

  3. Did I see the dropouts correctly in your video, it appeared to have horizontal dropouts. If it does, just adjust the wheel tensioners so the wheel sits in the centre of the frame.
  4. This has got to be the nicest Inspired Hex I have seen, looks like a really nice spec too.
  5. Just received mine in the post, they look brilliant. Thanks Tom. How do we donate?

    Stan Titanium

They do look very smart. Stan titanium a new brand to the UK, is Stan Shaw behind this?
  7. Just home from some of the funniest demos with, Joe, Gaz, Bill and Matt. Was good to see Jim and his little boy too.

  8. Off to Walton Hall Gardens Country Fayre near Warrington for demos with Savage Skills - Cycle Stunt Team - Lets Get Gold.

  9. Anyone seen the new Samsung tv advert? Their new tv technology looks pretty good, in fact it resembles what the Microsoft X-box Kinect requires the user to do for interactivity. Could it be that Samsung have not only ripped off Apple with their iPhone patents for their Samsung phones, but have also ripped off Microsofts technology from the Kinect for their new tv's?

      JT!

I don't think any of these companies are ripping off eachother. Seems to me it's like Onza and Koxx trying to sue eachother because they both have bikes with wheels.

  10. We are having a boy!!! :-D

  11. So even though I saw the postman walk by my flat this morning, it seems that another postman must have been doing the same round later as my order from CRC was posted whilst I was out on the bike.

  12. Chain Reaction are getting sloppy, put an order in on 3/9/12 at 23:10 so would have thought it would have been dispatched on the 4th or at least the 5th. No, they've only dispatched it today on Royal Mail 1st class, so I reckon they might turn up sometime next week.

When was this, I didn't know they had a security issue. Well surprisingly the postman has been down my road, but nothing for me :-( Good job I'm not desperate for this order.

It was either earlier this year or late last year. I had around £200 taken out of my account. Checked multiple MTB forums and loads of people had issues with it too, with CRC being the only linked factor. They eventually released some info on their FB page (2 wks after the first wave of reports). I can appreciate putting a "We're dodgy atm" sign up on a website isn't ideal, but transparency with customers would've left a slightly less bitter taste ;)

Yeah, it's not ideal to have to find out through forums that there's a problem with the security of a companies customers details. Hope you and everyone else effected got it sorted with no loss to them. Does give the impression that CRC are now too big for their current set up.

  13. Had a great day scoping out new lines for my video today with Andy, but now it's time to get ready for work :-( Hope it's a easy one.

  14. As you are from Salisbury I'll assume it's related to travelling from Salisbury. Both South West Trains and First Great Western services that from Salisbury have designated areas for I believe 2 bikes in a specific carriage, this should be clear by a sticker of a bike by a door on the train. This is the cycle restriction map for South West Trains http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk/uploads/cyclesontrains2010map.pdf and this is the website for details for travelling with First great Western http://www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk/~/media/PDF/About%20us/Cycle%20by%20train_Nov_2011.pdf

    Getacme

Not much can be said Ben that hasn't already. You remind me a lot of Dan Jones, in the way that he does things and films them and to everyone else it's impressive, well done that was nicely done, but to you and him it's not exactly how you wanted to do it so it's not good enough. If the day does come that you can get every line you want done and filmed perfectly then that would blow any other video out for a long time, no question about that. But even with this video viewers can appreciate the skill and hard work put into being so creative and imaginative with your choice of lines and moves. Enjoyed this video a lot Ben and can't wait for you to get that 'the one video' done.
  16. Who says the best rides happen on the weekend? Had an amazing day of riding with Lee and Marc. New lines done and limits pushed by all, brilliant day, and I got more than 1 clip this time for my GETcreative video entry.

  17. Off to Pompey I go with Marc Ebsworth for a flat out day of riding and filming for GETcreative competition.

  18. Spent the afternoon at Malden and District Society of Model Engineers.

  19. On my way home from a brilliant ride in Pompey with the locals. Struggling to find things for the Get Creative comp though :-(

  20. Off to Pompey for some riding and more filming for Get Creative.

  21. Thinking a Inspired Hex would suit me better, the Fourplay feels a bit too cramped and small :-( Anyone want to swap or has a Hex for sale or wants a Fourplay?

  22. Anyone got a disc mount facing tool?

  23. This is my definitely my favourite video this year. Just blows my mind how a guy can have such an crash, recover and come back better doing even more crazy lines.
  24. Off to Bournemouth tonight for the Bank Holiday weekend, little disappointed by the weather outlook. Nevertheless I will have my bike with me and will be riding Bournemouth/Poole and any other local spots when it is not raining. All the locals best be free for some riding.

  25. As others have already said, that was really enjoyable to watch. The track went really well with riding. The filming was sweet too, what equipment was used?
