hi all, the dates are 12th august-15th august. For prices on travel and accomodation, im going by the numbers of 12 people coming. i've e-mailed eurostar because the most they can give a price for is 9 people, so they should be getting back to me soon, with a price for 12 people plus bikes. i looked up one person under26yrs old, traveeling the same time will cost about £70, but as there's about 12 people, it may be cheaper as were going in a group. once this sorted and booking starts happening, il need to know peoples ages cos price may differ depending on your age. As for accomodation, i've found a hostel (Hotel le quercy) thats about 15 mins by metro to the eiffel tower ( i reckon bout 30mins tops riding time) £15.77 a night per person, (£47.31 for 3 nights, per person) they say they have luggage storage, this is probably the cheapest thats so close to the centre of paris, if anyone can find cheaper, or knows of cheaper, then feel free to post about it. As for flight's im having trouble finding flights as cheap as eurostar. hope this is helpful, and if possible can people start to decide if there definately gonna come or not, as this will be helpful to me to start bookings. :)

ive ridden notts, i like it, but i think some bits are too busy for day riding. sheffield is alright. im riding plymouth on the 11th of june, ive been told thats amazing, maybe too far for some people. :)

i don't know why people have this idea that virgin trains cost more, i've never been charged more for using virgin trains, and thay start from bournemouth (where i get on). i proved this to pauly when i was staying with him in tamworth for the bike show, he insisted it costs more for virgin, so we got to the station and pauly asked the ticket man at the desk, and he said that virgin cost the same as the local service. This year alone from january i've spent about £300 on travelling by train, although it would be alot more if i didnt have a young persons rail card, they have gone up in price, they now cost £20 but it last's for a complete year, and if you do replace it before the year is up, they'll add on the remaining days from your old rail card to your new one. so u don't loose out. sorted :)

my top spots are birmingham, bristol and leeds!! il come to where ever yu guys decide to go :)

me and my mate sean, have been wanting to ride plymouth for so long now, so we've decided that 4th june is the day were gonna go. our train gets in at 11:07 so if atleast one person can be there to meet us, we'll be very greatful, as we've never been to plymouth before. hope to see a few riders there that no the local spots :)

is that thursday2nd june? ifso, surely you can build a bike in a day. my mate sean will be coming up with me aswell. look forward to seeing you all :)

was actually jon shrewsbury that hopped off of jon's garage whilst drunk, i was too scared to do the drop, and i was sober. It was a very special day for everyone, i think everyone was touched by the amount of people that turned up :turned:

i did 54" in reading a few weeks ago, i almost had 57" to back wheel, it was only once and my brake didn't hold :P i'd be surprised if aust can do 59" cos when he taps, he doesn't really go low, for the height, he seems to tap at the same height no matter how high the wall is. but if he can do 59" then fair play to him (Y)

this is good, there's a nice interest. i've spoken to steve from nopogo, and trying to find out as much as possible about staying there. im trying to find travel and stay pack's. all ive found so far is a pack for £150 which includes return journey by eurostar and 3nights in some 3* hotel, but still looking for cheaper, u can only book eurostar journeys no more than 90 days before your travel date, so fares and tickets can't actually be looked into or bought :P as i said, im looking at doing this on 2nd/3rd week of august ie: 12th fri-15th mon. then we get fri pm, sat, sun and most of monday over there. there's only 3 months till this hopefully happens, so we need to get definte people up for it, so we can sort out sleeping arrangements and all the rest. so anyone thats interested can you look into whether your definate or maybe things to check are gonna be whether you have enough funds. can get the time off, your passport's valid. i wanna get this idea of the ground so the more help the better, cheers guys :S

i know its quite a way off, but just thought the sooner the better. i'm well up for going to paris this summer, i know a few other riders are up for it this year too. i'm think bout going over on fri 12th and coming back mon 15th (ruff idea on dates) ive looked into getting there, and i think flying is the cheapest ( especially if you can't drive, lol) i think my flight's gonna cost about £50 which is cool, but thats from bournemouth to paris CDG. if there's quite a few rider's then we can prob meet at gatwick and fly from there, or just meet at paris CDG. if there's some riders than are def up for coming then we can start organising it properly, i think it'll be sweet. hope to see a few rider's putting there names down :S

you alright sam, i'd be up for it. could probably blag my way up for free from halfords as i work for them to :S im not on here much, so if u can find out more about it, like dates and stuff then that'll be cool. we had our supermezz conversion last summer. my store number is 987 ferndown, gimme a ring when u find out more, cheers mate (Y)
