Sorry, a couple of things I meant to say. Guys is merely a term I use as I know there will be ladies on here also. I have researched the old internet and cant find a great deal on these bikes and certainly not a manual.

Hi guys, I'm new to this trials bike thing and thought I'd dip my toe by purchasing a non running 1997 scorpa 280! Now I'm sure many of you are rolling your eyes and laughing but I'm kinda an impulsive buyer . I looked at the bike, it had spark and compression and would start for a few seconds then die. Ive brought it home and done a compression test and its kicking to a max of 150 psi after 4 to 5 kicks? Is this anywhere in the range it should be in ? I've put a new plug in and fresh fuel but to be honest I'm not holding out for anything less than replies of break it for parts or it needs a rebuild. Please be brutally honest and let me know what your general thoughts are, I'm a big boy and can take it !
