  1. Sure. Or we get could get a smaller group together (Chai, Staples, Darren, Rob) and do it in Tonbridge, with the safety of my house afterwards
  2. I would have thought it would have been a bit like ridding a mod, but with the benefit of better taps?
  3. I love it Kind of puts me off trials mind you...
  4. Give him some persuasion from me too. And hell, why not, a hug. Chai will have to go without this week.
  5. I was suggesting just this the other day to The Chai. Nice idea, just gotta decide on location
  6. I'm guessing most people who don't know him Or Anal Fisting Dave, for his full title.
  7. I think you both mean "Anal Dave". I'm sure he'll explain that to you if you ask him. He's not been riding in a year, that was LITERALLY his first ride.
  8. That's the face he pulled when he realised he had missed out a bit of headset while fitting it
  9. Those bunny-hop taps were just an accident waiting to happen. And on a MOD I might add...
  10. LOL. Yup, that was me, and I think that's pretty much what I said! I was feeling like **** last night as I headed towards bed. Drinking as much water as poss, think I was still quite dehydrated. Feeling a bit off this morning, achey etc. But nowhere near as bad as I was expecting I had a good ride. My body just wasn't working early on in the day, I was just hitting things really hard and generally riding crap. I punctured by Maxxis for the first time EVER. That must be 10 months puncture free until yesterday... The ride actually got a lot better towards the end, when it started thinning out more and we could spend more time at one place. My riding improved a bit towards the end too, but my Pro 2 is screwed now. It's making a horrible clunking noise every now andagain. I'll crank the thing open and regrease it. :D See y'all next time
  11. Well I'll bring my camera (just got a huuuuge battery for it) and then if you don't feel like riding, you can film!
  12. Or use XVid (which is legal) and VirtualDub (which is free). But as you say, you're not great with machines That link above is pretty good for those sorts of things. Add me on MSN if you need any help
  13. Looking good Neil Who took the picture for the "setup" page?
  14. I suppose it depends on what type of girls you like to go out with
  15. Totally. As long as you're in fairly decent shape, have a sense of balance etc. you can do a lot of it. A lot of the hard stuff is the trick moves, like back flips etc. which aren't technically parkour, as it doesn't keep the flow going. Being a journalist myself, I wouldn't write something unless I'd looked in to it and got my facts straight. And I would expect the same of him/her. It's written more like a blog, and by some straight out of school office junior. Tartybikes.co.uk comes up at the very beginning of the video. A cursary glance there would point you in the right directions to information about the sport. It wouldn't have been hard to find out more about the sport.

    Chacha

Yeah, I've found that too. It's annoying. If you've got a mate in America, you COULD do it under his name. But it could get him in trouble, so probably not worth it.
  17. That's exactly why I don't do that shit. Because I KNOW that will happen to me!! But knowing my luck, I'll lose my teeth. Or bits of them. Again.
  18. Nice Job. Be interesting to see if you get any better on a new bike.
  19. I've been using NTL for that very reason. I decided I'd sooner step up a knotch on my mobile phone contract, rather than have a land line. I'm moving at the end of the month though and I happen to know one of the neighbours. So instead of just nicking his wireless (partly because he's smart enough to hide the SSID and put encryption on), I'm just going to chip in to the cost of their 8mbit connection (which isn't a lot). So there is always the legitimate option I'm sure a lot of those people barely use their internet connection and would quite happily split the cost.
