Nice pictures, some good riding there and sweet bikes too. (Y)

Yeh its hard to know where I land on this gap because the landing doesnt have an edge to it. (Y) Anyway only about a quarter of my tyre was on the grass if you pause it when I land. If it was a ledge I would have still made it.

Cheers, like I say one day I will hopefully make a full video. Anyone else, any comments are good, whether they are good or bad. (Y)

Nice video, played fine for me in media player classic, which is part of the k-lite codec pack. The quality was crystal clear, occasionally squares would appear near the top of the screen but it looked more like an editing effect than anything, didnt spoil the video at all. Awesome riding from all three of them, when they were bunnyhopping those people it looked like they werent going to clear them! I wouldnt trust myself to even try it!

Yeh I find it impossible to do with my lead foot, try it with your other foot and you may find it easier. I have the same problem, after a couple of scuffs my back wheel just hits the ground. (Y)

Cool video, some big riding there. Generally good sidehops, gaps and backwheels although thats all there seemed to be. It got a little repetitive towards the end.

I have been riding in the wet today and it isnt that bad, still pulled off some big gaps and suchlike. If you have a decent set of tyres and brake pads it shouldnt be too much of a problem. I did get a bit muddy though. (Y) Heres a gap I did today anyway when it was wet, it was around 7ft; http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=64306

Hes just said above your post that its not included in the price and that its £10 for a mod bike and £15 for a stock! (Y) Anyway brilliant service from both times I have ordered from them, I always send a cheque too and it comes within two days, if I did it over the phone it would probably come even quicker! (Y)

Not everybody has a fast connection, I have broadband and mines only at 9 kb/s at the minute.

Yeh they are worth getting, I got given them for free to test but I would buy a pair for a tenner definately. Awesome performance on both the wet and dry, the grass in the clip was soaking and the pads werent phased at all by the mud and grit on my rim. Anyone else watched the clip? Loads of downloads and very few replies. (Y)

What about the planet x BMF rim? I have one and its mint, very tough and still light and holds a grind very well too. (Y)

Im running heatsink blues on a ground planet x BMF rim with no tar Yeh its the same gap as on my other clips, only bigger. I will eventually make a full video, but I need a decent camera and someone to film me first!

I ran 22:20 for a while and it felt nice, I have moved to 20:17 now though and its feels awesome, not too hard so the bike feels light and it still gives enough power on gaps. Thats with 175mm middleburns by the way. I think you should try and swap your cranks for longer ones, 165 on a stock wont give you the power you need for bigger gaps and it feels strange too. (Y)

Due to the rain I havent been out much this morning but I managed to do a few gaps in my garden when it stopped. The board that I am setting off from is very soggy and slippy and so I was cautious about wheelspinning! Anyway, this is one of the biggest gaps I have done, tell me what you think. (Y) The file is quicktime; http://www.eengoedidee.nl/videoz/bike-trials/me_wet_gap.mov

Awesome video, well worth the download. Just what I expected after watching most of your other videos, a good handful of riders, awesome locations, top riding and to top it off awesome editing. The crystal clear quality was worth the extra file size (and longer download time). (Y) That spot near the end with all the rocks placed near each other looked mint. (Y)

Nice pictures Ben, the sections looked awesome and the new Giacomo koxx frame looks mint too. (Y)

Harsh mate, whats muscle got to do with riders his age? Maybe it matters for elite riders but not for most ordinary trials riders. Oh and theres no need to take the piss out of his hair either. Good video anyway mate, I have ridden with the rest of the Cleethorpes lot but not you, probably see you next time Im riding there. Pretty nice riding, keep it up. :P

My experience of heatsink pads is good, I bought two pairs of heatsink honig pads because they were being sold at clearance prices (£6 a pair!) and they werent up to much on a ground rim, which is fair enough as they werent designed for ground rims but I though they would be like my zoo pads were on a ground rim, very very sharp with detriment of life however the honigs were rubbish and diseintegrated rather quickly, there was pad dust all around my brake calipers. Steve raed my review and offered me a free pair of heatsink blues to test before they were put into production and I still have them on my bike now, I am very impressed with their performance in both wet and dry weather on a ground rim. They lock well, bite well and give a nice squeal, not too loud but just loud enough to inspire confidence. I havent had to use tar for months now and they are only half worn down after months of heavy use. I would reccomend them to anyone. :P

Awesome video, awesome rider. All French riders seem to have silly smoothness and dialled technique. :P

Awesome phtos there, all mint riders who did well on those super solid sections! ^_^

I was considering front freewheel too a while ago because I kept going through hope hubs quite quickly (I’m not a heavy rider at all). I knew that the pros used them with what seemed like no problems at all and so I very nearly converted to front freewheel. I even asked Matt Staples and some other people through PM’s what their front freewheel set-up was like, and most of them said it was really good and that they would recommend it. However most people overall said that they have had problems with their constantly coming loose (unless you spot-weld the lock ring on) or that they have skipped on them from time to time and so I decided against it. I saw a cheap Chris king wheel on ebay and have never considered any other set-up since. I wouldn’t bother if I were you. ^_^

I run an avid mechanical 185mm with an xtr lever and a cheap fibrax cable. Well worth the money, amazing from day one in both the rain and shine. I havent had to maintain it at all and its runs very smooth and sharp. Cant fault it really. I got mine from chain reaction cycles. >_<

I ride every day unless its raining! Thats why Im looking into trials shoes because although they are expensive I am on my bike a lot and so they will get a lot of use. I figure I may as well invest in some shoes designed FOR trials, not skateborading or BMXing. (Y)

Cheers for the help everybody, I have been searching around on several sites and I heard that the try-all shoes are designed for VP style cage pedals and of they are used with pinned pedals such as dmr v8's then the sole will wear out very fast. Is this true?

I will definately be buying the DVD when its out. Its a shame when they are prolonged though as most of the footage is dated, all the riders are better and have new bikes etc.
