  1. Not a bad video, some good moves in there. It looks strange riding skatepark on a trials bike. >_<
  2. My friend has had a couple of pairs ad they do feel really nice because of the angle of the sweep, he had the massive 2.5" rise too! Nice bars, but if you go big steer clear. :$
  3. Cheers for the replies guys, they have really helped. I think Im going to buy some now, as if you never try you'll never know. :$
  4. Yeh I am slowly getting better at sucking the bike underneath me, the highest I have done now is 36" over an object (ie rope in vid) but hope to hit 40" mark soon, which is my bar height.
  5. So it will be up soon? I hope so. :$
  6. I have started using a ground rim since just before summer. I can say that it is well worth doing, especially for winter. I have tried both hard and soft compund pads on ground rims and they all work well (went from zoo pads to koxx browns, then to heatsink blue pads). Although pad wear rate is slightly faster the performance is much better. :$
  7. Sounds right, but remember movie maker wont accept quicktime and other types of files unrelated with windows. It works ok though, simple but effective and easy to use. :$
  8. Ok cheers, posting tommorow morning for one. :ermm:
  9. So let me clear this up, its a SAE, a note saying what size and colour and £2 now in the envelope yeh Adam? Just checking as Im a little unsure, been ordering a lot of stuff lately from various places. :$
  10. Damn, its the 18th today and I was going to send off for one tommorow morning, looks like Im paying.
  11. Yeh I have seen the ribos on coustuk and they look horrid, like silver basketball shoes. :ermm:
  12. Nice clip of ben savage above, I would really have liked to have gone but theres no way I could have got down there. In the clip of savage the section looks absolutely solid, as do all the others in tartys vid. Everythings so high up! Just proves how good the top riders really are. (Y)
  13. Lol they are well and truly dead! I think I have decided to buy some try-all shoes as my bike is how I want at the minute so I dont really need to buy anything for that. :) Still not completely sure though. :( Oh and everybody ignore the poll, I cant change it now and I wasnt sure how to set it up in the first place. (Y)
  14. Lol they're not that big, I have always got skate shoes and I cant really fault them but I am close to buying a new pair of riding shoes and if trials shoes are better then I thought I would try them. I dont know anybody who has got them though so I have to turn to trials-forum for advice. :)
  15. Thats what Im worried about, I wont grow out of them as although I am 15 I hope I dont go past size 13! So it depends on their durability really. What interests me the most is that skate shoes are heavy and bulky whilst trials boots are nice and light and flexible. Yes but they look awful! (Y)

    Mk Video

Nice video, I liked that bunnyhop to spin off the wall at the beginning, although it was repeated a little too many times. Some nice inverse 360 drops too. (Y)
  17. Hey Janson where did you buy your ribo shoes from and how much were they (I know you arent from the UK but I thought you may have bought them from here?)
  18. Yeh just measure it yourself bud, as mark says it varies depending on what forks you have. (Y)
  19. I am surprised but I really like your bike, looks like it would be an awesome street machine. I think you should angle your bars forward though as mentioned above, it will look and feel better then. I have a 185mm avid mechainical on the front with an xtr lever and fibrax cable and its been mint from day one. (Y)
  20. I now the stupid poll has f**ked up now, why cant you edit it? (Ive never done a poll before on here)
  21. I have recently been very tempted to buy a pair of koxx try-all boots for riding in as I have the money and they are the only boots that go up to a 48 (size 13) and the monty boots look horrid. However I need convincing because they are bloody expensive! Its a shame the £29.99 offer on the YIK shoes at selectbikes doesnt go up to my size! I posted a topic before about peoples views on trials specific footwear but a poll would be better. So if you do use trials boots please post your comments in here and vote in the poll. (Y)
  22. I feel that this is a good idea, I am going to send off for one tommorow morning. They are free so I dont see why people have to complain. (Y)
  23. Crazy! Awesome though, nice to see the legend that is holroyd still riding. (Y)
  24. Didnt he have tools? Or he couldnt he have bodged it for the rest of the ride? I know I would...
