I dont know what I am getting, I have asked for some little bits and bobs though. New pedals, new shoes, clothes and an electric razor (random I know, but I like the look of them). I have just got a new phone (nokia 7610 on contract) so I dont want a new phone, and if I ask my mum and dad for any other bike parts they dont have a clue what they are so I dont get them unless I show them where to get it from or actually go with them to get it. They usually just give me the money to get it myself though. (Y) Christmas's arent what they used to be though, when I was about 9 or 10 they seemd absolutely amazing but now they lack the excitement and spirit that they used to have for me.

Jesus Christ! Some insane riding there! I cant beleive that you can tap and sidehop a postbox to backwheel! They are massive! Generally amazing riding all round once again. (Y)

Cool video, some huge drop gaps in there. :P Nice bike too, I think that it looks better with a front v-brake on for some reason. (Y)

Awesome video, some mint riding in there, you go very big! Nice bike too. (Y)

I really do like that, as asked above whats the geo?

Mint video, some awesome riding in there from everyone but even when I play the video in divx player the sound is out of sync with the riding, like someone will do a gap then 10 seconds later there is a squeak or someone will talk and it will just be music then when a clip if someone riding is on there is random talking that should have been heard earlier on, its very annoying. Has anyone else had this problem?

What? Youre running plastic on your rim? Thats crazy, are you sure they work well. (Y)

Nice pictures, looks like a good turnout of riders. (Y)

I run a standard 04 maggy body with an old skool lever blade (the square one) as I prefer the feel to the silver round ones. I quite like the 05 maggy levers but I am going to wait and buy a fresh products lever blade, and hopefully a chain tensioner too. (Y)

I agree, at least they have recognised trials as an extreme sport though. (Y)

I bought a brand new rear magura fitted with unex braided hosing a year and a half ago and it has only split once and that was near the calipers where it had been caught a few times. I would recommend them, even though they are looking worse for wear now but they work, thats all Im bothered about. They have a nice plastic coating too so they dont eat through your frame. Back when I bought them there werent the hope or goodridge ones out, only unex and the shitty magura ones that eat through your frame. Only £15 for one full brake too. Looking at whats available, I would go for hope or the unex ones. :P

I very much like that bike, you have done well with the red colour scheme. :P

Nice one, my record over something is 36" and thats on a stock. Your back tyre looked a little flat. :P You easily made it though. :P

Amazing video, but because its so long and such a large file size when I try to skip to different sections using the seeker bar in media player it freezes, I had to watch it from the beginning and go through all the drinking and crazy dancing but what riding there was looked very very good. The guy on the xtp has a proper high bunnyhop on him, he looked a powerhouse. :)

Awesome video, smooth and stylish as always. That tap at the end was huge! Your king hub is well loud! What do you run in it?

Awesome pictures and nice bike too! Your a lucky git with that type of weather all year round, be its impossible to ride at midday though! :)

That makes sense, but getting the confidence when riding at a high wall is hard. Fair enough you can go for it but if you dont have the right confidence mindset then you will just slip to bashguard and get annoyed. I find concentrating hard on technique helps a lot for bigger moves. I just forget about failing and usually it works, but your bound to fail sometimes. I have never done plyometrics although at low points in my riding progress I am very tempted to try it to see of it helps me improve. I find just riding as often as I can helps me improve. :turned:

Good to see you understand what Im saying, Im not one for starting arguments and like I said it wasnt aimed at anyone, just a trials point in general. Little kids with nice bikes who cant ride (not saying every little kid is crap, because thats not true) give the sport a bad image, at least thats what its like round where I live. People who watch us riding on the street or at competitions wont understand what trials is and wont appreciate the skill involved, they will just think that trials bike are a fashion and next it could be scooters or skateboards. Yet when they see dedicated riders like me and my mates they will perhaps appreciate what trials is about and why we do it.

Very good video, some nice riding there! Keep it up. :turned:

I know where you are coming from. When I first started a couple of years ago most riders had to start on xc bikes converted slightly for trials ie lowering the seat, tweaking the brakes, lowering tyre pressure etc. Now kids seem to get fancy bikes bought for them and start off with loads of support from other riders which I suppose is all good, but it pisses me off when you see really good riders struggling to afford good parts then some 10 year old comes along with a mod bike worth over £1000 and cant ride for shit, but his daddy bought it for him. They dont really know what trials is about those types. Before you make assumptions this was in no way aimed at ashley butler as he is a good rider, especially for his age. :) I was just making a point in general, ah the old skool days. :turned:

Once every two weeks? Bloody hell your rim sidewall wont exist for much longer! From looking at them they are a good rim, I would say they are better quality than a koxx drilled. :turned:

Really good photos, some good riding there by the looks of it! (Y)

Nice pictures, not a bad tap there, especially for how long you have been riding. Oh and riding with people better than you always helps the learning curve! (Y)

I have just watched the finals video and the footage is very good. I like it near the end where Vincent and Beleay are competing over who can tap the highest! (Vincent wins). I cant believe that benito hooked up that car from a static backhopping position! (Y)
