I have recently bought the gigapipe dh bottom bracket, in 73 by 128mm to fit my t-rex with a 22t chainring, the same size as you need. I got mine from CRC here. However they dont appear to have the right size anymore as you have noticed. Dont buy from leisure lakes, i originally ordered the exact same bb from there as crc didnt sell the gigapipe at the time. They didnt have the bb in stock and failed to tell me so i waited two weeks and had to prompt them through an email before they told me they werent in stock as i placed my order online and it said they were in stock. I then discovered that they were charging £10 more than crc did too and through the help of dave@tartybikes i discovered that crc now sell the gigapipe and ordered it from there, good service too. :)

Should I Bring My Trials Bike On My School Ride
Luke Drewery replied to bquamb's topic in Trials Chat
I think that you should just take your kona as you might look a bit silly on your trials bike because of all the usual blah blah ie small seat, tiny frame, wide back tyre, skinny front tyre etc etc but its up to you. If you want to show off and such like then go on your trials bike however there will always be one tit who has to say something, they are normally chavs. :D -
The problem with koxx frames (from what i have heard in general, I had no problems with mine when I had it) is that they are very light and have nice geometry but because they are designed for competition use and not everyday street being hammered up concrete walls etc they arent up to street abuse. The only exception to this is the old and new levelboss frames by the looks of things. As for the caisso, I feel thats its too short and overpriced (as with all koxx products) for me to think of buying one, but for the shorter rider they look to be good frames. :D

The lens is a little extreme but I like the photos nonetheless. Your bike looks well sweet rowan, my next frame will almost certainly be a KOT after seeing everyones built up. :D

I do indeed like them. Awesome photos mate, i especially like the last one. :D

Better pics of my t-rex;

Price, though they are slightly heavier than v12's (not noticable when riding) they are a lot cheaper. (Y)

I suffer from achy knees but its not from actual trials riding, its from riding long distance from one spot to another which stresses them, so i try to avoid that now. I have just started taking cod liver oil capsules as im like aust, i dont want to have many problems in the future with my joints if it can be helped.

He means taking the spring out so that it does'nt bang on the frame when you land. I have done this and never looked back. (Y)

V8's all the way, only £20, light, strong, smooth, grippy and look good too with a good choice of colours. I have had two pairs of v8's both being amazing, the only reason I sold my other v8's is because I wanted to try rob warner dh pedals which were ok but now im back with v8's. Great value I think.

1 finger is the only way to go in my opinion, you get good grip on the bar and better control. Just make sure that your brakes work well and you shouldnt find it a problem with 1 finger braking.

Thats just what i was thinking. I have always had bad impressions of viz from general reviews on here. (Y)"

Nice video, you seem to keep hetting better.

Nice pictures Andy, some huge moves you pulled there.

Got the video now, pretty good. Some good riding in there, especially from rich on the leeson. (Y)

I prefer to lock my front brake when i land, i can roll forward and let my rear wheel roll onto the object but it doesnt look or feel as controlled for me. I either pivot 90 degrees or swap to back wheel. Anyone else watched the clip?

Awesome video! Some sick lines in there and humour too, tunni going huge as usual along woth porter, stedman, wheeler etc etc. Top video everyone, download now! <_<

Exactly what im thinking, megupload is pure turd to put it politely. <_<"

Sick gap! Landed smooth too! <_<

Mint video, some really good riding. I liked the way you included both street and trials moves, not just one or the other as it shows you have a nice all round style. The song was ok too, and the editing was top notch. <_<

There are endless pad topics on here, have a search. :P Plazmatics seem to be very popular for ground rims. I am running the heatsink blues at the moment and they are very good. I only have to use a slight bit of tar every few days, i am talking a tiny amount and they bite and lock very well. Before that i had kox browns and they were the same, slow wear rate, good bite and amazing lock. :D

Damn eengoedidee, i got to about 70% then it froze, tried it again and it didnt even get to five percent, and it said 2 and a half hours left to download. I shall have to try and get ot tommorow, unless someone puts it on a better host like that tv.isg place. :P

Mint pictures, all awesome riders too. :P

It cant be the frame unless its faulty as look at matt staples and damon watson, those guys go huge and i assume their brakes dont rub every time they put pressure throug the pedals. I had the same problem on my koxx and my t-rex that i have now. Half an hour of fiddling with spoke tension sorted the problem for me, been good ever since. :-
