Yeh the smart guys come in 20" too, and they look better on a mod than they do on a stock in my opinion too. Another nice set of forks for around the same price are the new echo team forks which havent been out long and look to be well designed and made.

Very nice photos, look really professional and make for nice coverage of all the comps going on. I suspect that you will be at the british world round at the weekend taking more photos (N)

Mint video, nice to see some competition footage featuring all the best riders in the world. Vincent does seem to be a little outclassed by belaey to me, and benito is just in a class of his own! (N)

Trials_pimp your situation is currently the same as mine, i don't seem to be improving much at all and i find myself doing the same things over and over again. Also, i cant do things that i have done loads of times before so i fell like quitting. I put my explanation down to riding the same places over and over again, its so repetitive and leaves you feeling shitty and bored all the time. I have ridden out of town a few times, and every time has been amazing i improve loads in one days riding than i would in my own town in a month. Recently i have learnt how to wheel swap properly and i have got good at them now, also i learnt how to improve generally all of my riding but the past two or three days i haven't been riding good at all. Its seems that everything i learnt was only a temporary high and now i am making up for it. It annoys me so much. I have my 6 week school holiday very soon so i shall be on the train as much as possible, otherwise i will waste away on the same old crap riding spots. Stick with it though, riding can be good (Y)

Joe Maher New Video - Koxx 26 + Team 20
Luke Drewery replied to Joe Papasnap Maher's topic in Videos
Sorry but that megaupload site is totally crap, all that messing around preparing to let me download it and it stopped at 4% with a crap download rate anyhow. I shall wait for the eengoedidee link me thinks... -
Anyone? surely someone has to run a 22t chainring on a t-rex?
-
Right, I recently got myself a t-rex frame and I am having trouble finding a good bottom bracket that allows my 22t middleburn pro trials ISIS cranks to clear the chainstays. Adam@tartybikes has already recommended one but you have to run spacers on the drive side so there are less threads in the frame. I was just wondering what other people run with 22t ISIS cranks? I was looking at the try-all one on bikedock, but it is seriously overpriced and i dont know if it will even fit. So anyone running a t-rex frame and a 22t chainring please post up here hat you are running so i can get an idea of what is available. I have looked around but cant find any 73 by 128mm bb's anywhere that are ideal. Any help would be very much appreciated, cheers (Y)

Everything is on just as it should be and i have just been on a quick ride with no problems so hopefully its fixed now (fingers crossed).

Very nice, better looking than other long frames currently available :)
-
The bearings are both the right way up and everything is in just as it should be, i have took it apart and put it back together and it seems to be fine now but i shall see tomorrow when i go for a ride again...
-
The top and bottom bearings are identical so no problem there, any suggestions from people ho own t-rex frames or have had one?
-
That is very impressive for a home made frame, it looks like a cross between a leeson 24" and a dmr rhythm 24". :)
-
Everything is perfectly flat and in good shape, but its as if there is a part missing but i have every part from the picture. The bottom bearings chamfered edge is different to that of the crown race so it wont tighten onto it properly. For now i am running the headset without the crown race so the bearing is located on the fork directly, thats the only way it will fit together without a gap... :)
-
Hi, i got my t-rex frame yesterday ater switching from a koxx levelboss. I have the internal headset, its the cane creek zero stack two headset but i am having problems fitting it together properly. In this Picture The bottom cup with a chamfer that sits on the fork seems to have the right angle to fit in the bearing. When i put mine together in the exact order shown on this picture there is a gap at the bottom near my fork crown and i cant understand why, its really frustrating. This means that my headset has play and doesnt turn properly. Anyone else had this problem?

That xtp copy looks nice, tha paint scheme works well. My favourite is the vinco mod though, looks so sweet (Y)

Very nice video, some huge taps in there and the riding was generally awesome (Y)

i run dmr v8's and they are as good as you need for pedals. They are light, strong, look good and are very grippy with replaceable pins. Another good thing, they are cheap too! I would go for the onza hognesiums if i had money to spare and would stay away from vp pedals as they fall to pieces with normal wear. :-

I like that danny butler frame, but i hate the slinger one. Those chainstays are so ugly and what is the benefit? They will probably catch if you try riding up a curb sideways lol. Look on trials-nation if you want to see some crazy riding from thomas ohler. On the home page he does a 53" tap from a 3 pedal run up. :-

I find that i cant tap with my finger covering my front brake as i learnt to tap when i didnt have a front brake so it stuck. When my wheel hits the wall i cant help but pull the lever so i get nowhere. Does anyone else find that they can only tap without covering their front brake?
-
Nice but as people have said get a new cassette and chain. I think that the KOT mS2 looks a lot better than the toxsin, i might consider getting one when they come out (Y)
-
No benito ros is under 6 foot, he is short if i remember rightly :(
-
I run red koxx rim tape on my rear koxx drilled rim and it works perfectly, durable, looks good and weighs nothing :( I can remember from a while back that michelin make green rim tape but its hard to get hold of...

Absolutely mint video, i have added it to my collection along with andy t's video and another one made by someone else. He really is an amazing rider, i noticed he shouts at himself when he doesnt make something though, if it helps him do it then fair play B)

Nice video, some decent drops and ups there. The music was pretty poor though >_<
