Those pics are very sweet, i like the one of the waterfall and the last one of the road barrier with the lines of light above it, they both look quite mystical (Y) All of the riding ones are sweet too though :-

Sweet pics mate, rear discs are very good for power and modulation, but they tend to wreck frames. Some good riding there (Y)
  3. Lol i thought it was going to be proper riding, funny though (Y)
  4. Thats the exact reason i got one instead of a hope...
  5. I recently fitted my avid (about two weeks ago) and im using a fibrax cable. It was only £4 for inner and outer with loads of cable to spare when you have cut off what you need. I got it from my local bike shop though so i dont know where else you could get it from, probably chain reaction cycles etc. I recommend it for performance and value (Y)
  6. Some very nice pictures there, that spot looks awesome (Y)
  7. Ive heard of people doing this before, its a good idea. Im sure the booster would be like the echo control boosters, very thick and meaty! (Y)
  8. Nice pictures, strange to see some streety moves as well as trials on a BT raven (Y)
  9. Good video, the riding seemed to get better the further I watched it. Good editing, wasnt keen on the music though :P
  10. Agreed, zoo are very nice bars, although your bike looks like it would ride better with the raceface bars...
  11. I have recently got my avid, and i am pretty impressed with it. Im running an xtr lever and fibrax cable, and it works well :P
  12. That a well good idea for a project, i would be proud of that if i made it. Looks a right beast :P :-
  13. The bluriness does spoil them a little, but i still think that they are nice pics, i like the one of akrigg stalling :P
  14. The video plays perfect for me, nice hook too...
  15. That is a very sweet bike indeed, all i would change is the bar and stem though...
  16. Nice, impressive sidehop there, its amazing how high people can get with that technique ;)
  17. Thats a nice gap, but why make a topic about it? Im sure people do gaps every day but dont post them on here. Not having a go, just saying. Anyways, nice ;)
  18. I would definately say that hooks are the harshest on your forks, when you hit the wall all of your weight hangs off them (Y) . Bumps can be harsh, depending on how low you hit your wheel (varies with height of obstacle).
  19. I had some singlewalls for a few weeks, before moving back to flat bars. I bought them for £20 from the bike show in 2004, they had a nice shape to them, but i prefer doublewalls if any. My friend seems to swear by them, the shape of the high rise doublewalls is very nice, its a shame that the strength lets them down.
  20. Thats a sweet little vid, some creative riding there. The amount of spins involved was rather mad, although they are so much fun (Y)
  21. Im not trying to be mean, im just giving 'constructive critiscism, so dont have a go at me. I didnt mean any offence by it, as it isnt bad for a first vid...
  22. You are doing about average for riders these days. Everyone now seems to get very good very fast! I think its because there are better bikes around for less money, and more people to ride with and learn from. All the best riders now have been riding for 4-5 years, but the people who ride with them are also very good but have been riding about 2-3 years.
  23. That is how a giant should look, very sweet mate. :)
  24. No offence, but i found that to be very repetitive, the riding wasnt brilliant and it was too short. If you put more of a variety of moves into the video and made it a bit longer, it would have been so much better.
  25. There are so many different tyres, but my choice would probably be a michelin comp 24 (good in summer) or a harder compound maxxis, they both have good grip and puncture protection as well as lasting too
