    Warts

The juice from the stem of a dandilion. Just rub it into the wart. I had some on my hands for years & I tried freezing them & it didn't work. I tried the dandilion thing a couple of times when I was out on the bike & hey presto, all but 1 went very quickly. The final one reduced massively in size but 10 years later I still have it so I don't think it'll ever go to be honest
  2. It was called a Knight XV I think. Looks nearly as big as an airport fire engine!
  3. We used to always turn our bikes into motorbikes by putting a flattened Coke can on the back tyre. Used to make a great noise at speed & back tyres would wear out in no time. Lolipop sticks in the spokes weren't quite as good but at least the tyre lasted longer that way. Also once we were old enough to have mountainbikes, Obviously the person with the most gears had the best bike & therefore was by far the coolest kid!

    Motogp

In less than 2 weeks I will get to see & hear one of the most awesome machines right outside my own front door. Suzuki are bringing Capirossi & his 2010 Moto gp bike to the Isle of Man for a one off parade lap during TT fortninght. Capirossi will not be riding his own bke though. He will do the lap on a GSXR 1000 & the honour of riding the gp machine has been given to one of the fastest TT riders around, Cameron Donald. Dainese are also brining over championship leader Jorge Lorenzo who will also take part in a parade lap of the 37.73mile circuit on Senior Race day. See what they have to say below... http://www.iomtt.com/en/News/2010/05/25/Lorenzo-says-Isle-of-Man-TT-racers-deserve-the-biggest-respect.aspx http://www.iomtt.com/News/2010/05/05/Suzuki-MotoGP-machine-to-lap-Mountain-Course-during-the-2010-Isle-of-Man-TT.aspx http://www.iomtt.com/News/2010/05/07/MotoGP-legend-Capirossi-reveals-his-thoughts-about-riding-the-TT-course.aspx
  5. Looks absolutely faaaantastic! I was going to spend some money blinging up my XC bike but after looking at your pictures I'm really seriously considering to use the money to get something like this. Everything about that bike appeals to me.
  6. Thanks, I've added a little bit more green in the last couple of weeks & finally got rid of those aweful rusty footpegs. Must remember to get some photo's this afternoon.
  7. I used to have a set of Reba race on my old anthem but my current bike has Rockshox Recon SLs & I'm well impressed with them. I think someone said theirs are very soft but I can't say I've had that issue with mine. I weigh 14st & am riding about 10hrs offroad a week if possible. Had them since August & they haven't skipped a beat yet. Just had a quick look & Merlin have them on sale for £189 at the moment. Seems pretty reasonable for an air fork. I've also used those suntours that were mentioned earlier & they're well worth the money.
  8. 2009 GasGas 250. Used to be Red & White but had the frame powdercoated black & have just put a set of Monster Energy stickers on her. Hopefully this'll stop me jumping on the wrong bike after walking a section PS: New footpegs have been ordered. The factory rust colour just doesn't seem to compliment the green all that well.
  9. Just don't eat it once you've made it. It doesn't taste like oranges or lemons!
  10. I've been boarding a few times & skiing loads of times & I've always got my pants from TK Maxx. Never spent more than £40 on pants & have had some nice enough gear. DC, Billabong, Airwalk etc. Obviously you won't get any top of the range Burton stuff or anything in there but unless you're spending a season out in the snow you hardly need it. I was in Morzine last week, not far from Geneva & there was a massive dump at the end of the week so the snow's really really good at the moment in that area.
  11. My glasses turned up just in time. We don't have a Sainsburys over here so I had to get some sent over. Some of it was good last night but I found quite a lot was straining my eyes. The greatest ever 3d moments on Sat should be a good one to watch.
  12. My factory Honda - Maybe the slowest one on here? Although if anyone has a honda rotivator that might take the spoils for slowest Honda.
  13. Only just been able to watch the final stage & f**k me I'm glad I watched it. That finish was superb. Columbia didn't have it all their own way & really had to think on their feet there. They kept their cool & Renshaw catapulted Cav through that final chicane so fast compared to everyone else that Cav had a country mile between him & the next across the line. That's got to be the most nail biting & exciting final 2km ever! Shame about the disqualification earlier in the Tour. Cav's a better sprinter than Thor & he should've had green.
  14. Good work from the Manxman again last night! Was interesting to see that even when Hushovd sat on Cav's wheel into the finish he had no way of coming round him. Still early days for the green Jersey though & very early days for the yellow.
  15. I follow the live updates online while I'm at work & then just watch the highlights on telly in the evening. Having grown up with Cav I'd naturally like to see him take the green jersey this year. Other than that I have no real favourites.
