There is still an ongoing market for a knee/shin pad that actually feels good on your leg and one that pivots properly but doesn't keep falling down your leg. Gloves are also worth a look, you could try going toward shortening the palm of the glove to reduce the amount of excess material scrunched up while holding onto the bar. You could look at some kind of ankle brace/protector aswell, i've had a few instances where i've fractured/strained/sprained my ankles. I could think of an endless list from all this, I personally don't only ride trials either, i've got my head in pretty much everthing so if you like drop me an email or add me to msn if you want to talk more.

But theres also different strength qualities when building wheels radially or crossed. With crossed spoke wheels they give good side to side strength but the torsional strength is very good, so 4x rear wheels last longer, however with radial the torsional strength is poop but side to side strength is better because the spokes are coming straight from the hub, so when you put more tension on the spokes you wont find buckling as much of a problem.

At work the only thing I could make sense out of it all would have been to stick the little stickers on them. But they are the skewers from full build bikes only so i'm sure all us forum go'ers will be fine.

I'm currently riding some shimano dx flat shoes and I have to say they are the best riding shoe i've worn, although this only comes from wearing different types of skate/bmx style of shoes as I haven't used any proper trial shoes like ribo/try-all. But they are very very good, really comfy, they have protection for the laces which comes in handy quite alot, they offer a high inner ankle so you don't bite your crank arms. Overall a really great shoe, I can't see why I would need to buy any other brand, i've been using these for atleast 4-5 months and the soles are still very very good, and the shoes are generally just a little dirty. They seem to be lasting quite a while, the soles grip very well on all kinds of pedal. (double cage trials ones on trials bike and your standard style platform pedal on my other bikes) So, another thing to add to the list of good shimano products.

My thoughts would be how it would ride being that short and having such a high bb, also this would depend on what bar/stem you were going to use. This geo maybe similar to the ride that the vinco does but alot shorter I presume. Build it and tell us! hehe

I had a wicked day, was really sweet. Everything went sweet apart from me falling off more that I would have liked to but was an awesome day. OnzaBoyMark is my new god, he is so awesome and gave me an inner tube after I ruined mine in about 15minutes, love you man That was me no worries man, had a great day. No doubt i'll be there next year again. Oh...and thanks to FatMike for pointing out to me when I fell in the skip that I snapped my maggie lever but then not all was lost because I took both my trials bikes. Gotta get some sleep now if I have any chance of racing 4X tomorrow

Nah they are on the right way around, they are a brand called Manitou and they use a reverse arch technology for some reason, probly to be different I suppose but yeh, they are supposed to be like that.

Yeah I would have thought they would be aimed at the downhill market, with the bigger piston size and post mounted. That rotor looks cool too, wouldn't mind burning one of those up in france.

But even better would be plain guage, strong ass spokes. Deffinatly get yourself some sapim or dt swiss plain guage spokes. Plain guage = stronger

If your looking for an off the peg bike my thoughts would be for an xc bike look at the scott scale 70, its £499 and is the lowest priced full built bike with an alloy racing frame, comes with pretty good kit on it aswell. If you want to swing for a proper road bike then I would suggest a specialized allez, again at £499 but a good bike, with this you get a carbon fork, shimano running gear and a few decent specialized components.

Echo pure for sure, coming from the saracan it would feel alot better. But then you might be one of these weirdos who likes high bb, so I would say try having a go on someones bike with a higher bb and see how you feel.

I'm gonna try getting down, for some reason I feel so up for riding, hope to see y'all there.

I seem to do pretty well for myself going from a zoo python to an echo pure, then onto a specialized bighit and then to a scott yz0 ltd. bikes. I'm no slouch on any of my bikes really.

I've got an older proto pad from the wally man but it wasn't great. Hopefully he'll pull his finger out and get me some of the new proto's

Ones intended for mountain bike and off raod use, the other is intended for touring bikes mainly. I'm not sure if they have different mounts or anything though but do yourself a favor and don't consider buying one.

The only thing to complete my feeling of self-well being would be a girlfriend. But i've been alrite since now I spose.
