  1. Other than the Geo it's just another Limey? Well every single mod frame is just another Limey with a different geo. Onza have just increased choice. All good. What's the point in posting that at all? This frame is the exact opposite of what you ride, couldn't be further away unless you consider XC or DH frames. So why bother making a negative comment at all?
  2. Looks good, the trick now is to make the graphics and the color make the frame look nice.
  3. I've used the freshproducts cams and the monty cams and they both worked perfectly. I think any toothed cam would do the same amazing job. Chain tension is the same all the time, no slipping issues, good range of movement.
  4. 1. Selling in new members is against the rules. 2. He rides a mod. 3. He's only looking for a frame. 4. He only has 200 pounds.
  5. Just so you know, the onza rip has a 20" rear wheel. The majority of mod frames / bikes use a 19" rear wheel (the fatter tire makes up the extra inch), the rear wheel on the rip will not be compatible with nearly all mod frames so you'll need to change the rear wheel too.
  6. Unlocked phones should work with any sim anywhere. My unlocked Nokia worked with an orange sim and an at&t sim, so it should work the other way round. You might have issues with the date (month before day) but i'm basing this on a run of the mill phone, not an iphone which is practically a computer so there might be a setting to change all that. The charger will be american so you'll have to buy an adapter or a new charger.
  7. Not much of that really makes any sense. What has the team got to do with anything? Onza sell frames, they just don't make them for the team. And not having riders to test them can't be a good excuse as they have made frames with disc mounts in the past and present. And if that really is a problem then why can't they just get a couple of team riders to test rear disc mounts. When the skull was released there was a handful of people complaining that there was no disc mount on there, just about as many as the people saying they loved it, they'll have sold many more if it did. It just seems to me there are many advantages about having a disc mount and very little disadvantages to the point that all frames should come with one (providing the company can't provide one of each).
  8. Ahh, maybe that's why he thinks he's having problems then.
  9. How can he be in the 'validating' group and able to post?
  10. Just reached -30c here. I'm am most certainly not riding.
  11. Yeah I'd agree with that, you just made it sound like you said most riders are starting to use double magura, but you didn't, I missread. :$
  12. I would have said the brake looks fine, the left pad looks worn at an angle though, so this is what might be throwing it off. If you look at the worn part of the left pad's gap between the rotor and compare that to the back between the right pad they look the same. New pads wouldn't hurt.
  13. Starting to use double or rear maggies? Comp riders have been using maguras for years. It's only in the last 2 or 3 years that double disc has become more and more popular.
  14. I don't understand why, but I've used rouned ones and toothed ones and the rouned ones slipped and the toothed ones are pretty much like having vertical dropouts, rock solid. They shouldn't slip but they do. Anyway, the toothed ones still have very fine asjutemnt from tooth to tooth so that's not a problem, also you get a consistent wheel alignment unlike the rounded ones which is great as you don't have to re-setup your brakes. All the cams are pretty much the same, i bought the Monty ones as they're were the cheapest, but don't forget the Monty bolts that come with the cams are a different size to the rest, but i guess you already have bolts so that shouldn't be a problem.
  15. That comment is so stupid. This thread is a discussion about specific riding and bikes designed for that specific riding. If there wasn't this kind of discussion we'd all be riding trials on modified mountain bikes still rather than trials specific parts.
  16. I ride a TGS frame on everything but TGS riding. I don't think any frame has a real category, Onza frames are known for being weak-ish (relative to deng frames) so bashing is usually out of the question, but for everything else it's fine. If you like the geo then go for it. With regards to no disc mount, i don't really get why they leave the off the frames these days. Especially seeing as though onza don't give you a choice, it's instantly making the frame usable for only 2/3 riders (or whatever % ride with a rear disc). Why not just but a disc mount on?!
  17. That's what they said about 24" street bikes. ...OH WAIT!
  18. Nah i just think 2010 is the year of the 24" TGS frames. There's already Onza who could be releasing one pretty soon and the one that's out in Feb, and they're the ones we actually know about.
  19. Well that's not a joke, that's just enhancing.
  20. Well let me just link you to some similar topics from OTN... ...oh wait.
  21. I've just stood and cut myself on a tetanus shot needle. What do I do now?
