  1. So when you guys are measure CS / WB lengths on frames with horizontal dropouts, do you actually measure from the axle to the BB or front axle with the bike set up, or do you just have set measurements with chain length increments with a fixed gearing (mods'll be 18/12) and add that on accordingly? Did that even make sense?
  2. I get drunk and don't sober up until the 1st of Jan.

    Magura Help.

I read your post in the angry thread, i had this problem. If you get a long thin alan key and push it down the bleed hole and hammer the crap out of it it'll pop out.

    2010 Death Game!

Me too, but if Johnny Depp's portrayal of Willy Wonka didn't kill him, probably nothing will.
  5. I seem to remember mine had quite a lot of room with no basring. Should be ok.
  6. Very true, I wasn't having a dig at the frame. It's just that it's really cheap, great for people buying new but to sell it 2nd hand people are going to look at the price it is new. It's a cheap onza frame it's hard to sell for a good price, that's just fact. Don't bother with a reserve, it costs loads to put it on ebay with a reserve. Put it on there starting price 60 and see how it goes. If you really want to sell it fast maybe start out at 50. Or if you're really ballsy start it out at a penny, but that'll only work if you get two people interested enough to bid on it - which if you post it up on here the chances are quite likely.
  7. Well seeing as though the whole issue was about the spaces and not the fact that it was bought from tartybikes which is a biketrials shop i guess they do. Are you just talking about external bearing BBs? If so echo did them but they didn't sell well as you couldn't run a front freewheel with them. I loved mine.

    Blu-ray Or Hd-dvd

Huh, shit. I was reading loads of articles on the net about how it was like the VHS / Betamax war all over again. Should have looked at the articles dates. Guess i'll go blu-ray then when the time comes. (Seeing as though i don't have a choice.)
  9. Looking at this form a 3rd person point of view, there's more proof that you did use the spacers than you didn't. It's a crappy situation to be in, but you're in it and trying to say you didn't use the spcers makes you look like your lying just to get a replacement (i'm not saying you are but that's what it looks like). You're in a similar situation I recently saw on TV. This Australian woman tried to enter the USA for a 2 month stay with her chef knives and work resumes. Of course they thought she was going to work during her stay which she isn't allowed to do. She said in her interview when asked why she has her resumes on her she replied 'I'm always looking for work'. She wasn't let into the country even though she said she brought the knives to cook for the people where she was staying and her resumes were just in her bag where she always has them and didn't remove them. They're all simple and innocent mistakes to make but she lost all credibility by what she said and did. No, the warranty is with Reset. It really has nothing to do with tartybikes they're just the messenger.
  10. For future reference.

    Poetry Thread

The roses are red, The violets are blue, This shitty generic poem, too good for the likes of you.
  12. Just guessing here, but could it be possible that coust pads were too good for their time, and as other pads got better and more available coust pads stayed the same and they seemed to get worse relative to the whole break pad market getting better?
  13. That's crazy how can something as precise as a rim be so inconsistent?
  14. If you sell it for 70 posted you've done very well. But i'd expect it to for for maybe as low as 50. It's very difficult to sell a budget frame as the only people looking to buy a frame are generally looking for a higher quality one, and the blade is at the bottom rung of the ladder. You may be better off doing what I did, I bought a complete budget bike similar to the blade, every time i upgraded a part I kept the old ones, once i'd upgraded everything and had the original bike and sold it for about 110. On their own all those parts individually (most of which) would have been worthless.

    The Year 2009

Well yeah it is great, but there's a lot more to it than that. I'll be happier about it next year hopefully.

  21. I got 404 pounds. But they're in AUS so they have to add on shipping which we don't as we're in the same country as Onza.
