  1. NT was going 11 level static gaps on clip a while back, I'd say there'd be someone on a mod somewhere that could do 11ft.
  2. Well i was more getting at the fact that when petrol is petrol, it doesn't lose any of it's potential energy. Ie when you transfer 100 gallons of petrol from a to b, non of it is lost. But with electricity, a big chunk of it is lost when transporting it (i could be wrong, but isn't it more than half?) making me think that electricity is less 'green'. But then again i know very little about the processes.
  3. My wife gave me, what i'd call, a generous tap in the balls. Took me out for 30 seconds ish, i really don't think she fully estimated how much it actually hurts.
  4. The black guy in thin blue line, although that's more than 5 years.
  5. That's not the point though, not only does it show you a lack of care about his business, but it also shows lack of care when it comes to quality of service and communication etc etc.
  6. I feel it's more less to do with how much weight, and more to do with where the weight is.
  7. So, are electric cars doing the environment any good? More electricity usage = more pollution to make the electricity. Plus a good chunk of power is lost in transfer, but with petrol non is.
  8. Sounds like it has nothing to do with the website but your internet connection. Tartybikes is working fine for me.
  9. This comp isn't turning out too great. I think the problem is that you have to take a picture of something closeup and far away at the same time. Also, if you don't have anything heatsink - even a sticker like me, there's nothing you can do to join in. Add the crappy weather to all that too.
  10. Select bikes are ok. So you got the wrong hub.

    Tgs 24?

I'm not gonna leave a long winded response, i'm just going to say 'two wrongs don't make a right'. No, all 24" bikes today just so happened to be designed for (as you put it) 'relaxed flowing bmx type ridding'. That does not mean that 24" bike shouldn't be designed for tgs riders. It's not 'killing' the fun side of trials, attitudes like this are doing less for trials than TGS riders are. Just because some TGS riders are assholes doesn't mean they all are. What's even more wrong with this is now anyone who rides TGS is getting labeled as an asshole, and people are riding 24" street just because it's cool and in at the moment, and not because they like the style.

    Tgs 24?

I wasn't really saying anything, it was more of a dig at Ali C's post. If you managed to read that from what I wrote then you have a good imagination. 24" TGS / comp bikes will benefit the mod riders more than the 26" riders. I think quite a few people will move to 24" from mod, than 26" riders moving down. I'm a mod rider and ride a TGSy geo'ed frame and these days I ride more of a compy style. Hence why I'd like to try bigger wheels for easier rolling, but 26" for me is too big. There's going to be pros and cons like there is in mod vs stock today, but i'm really looking forward to a whole new choice of wheel sise for comp / TGS riders. You have the shittiest attitude ever. If you don't like TGS don't ride it, simple. Compare TGS and street to sprinting and marathon running respectively. Do you really think marathon runners enjoy what they're doing more than the sprinters trying to get fractions of seconds of their time? No. They do what they do because they enjoy what they do. TGS riders don't go out riding all serious and don't have a laugh because they're too busy measuring walls. I can't believe people will actually try to put down and belittle an area of their own sport!
  13. No, they aren't, they're the worst trials shop selling at the moment. You're likely to lose your money and / or end up with the wrong part.
  14. *Sigh* where are the races?

  16. I doubt it, if someone did buy t-uk, they'd have to make a huge song and dance about it to get any customers back.
  17. 5 people by the looks of it.
  18. If you're some rich guy, instead of giving a few thousand to children in need, why not get a bike out of the deal too?
  19. Take a look here. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/search.php?category_id=4 See the try-all choco brown ones, they look like they'll last a good long time.

  22. The people who vote for all the extremes just to try f**k up the poll.
  23. That is confusing as hell, rather than saying "you get 4 pounds off RRP, but you have to pay 2 pounds to the charity (which i'll pay on your behalf) and X amount for paypal fees' why not just have fixed prices and say "2 pounds from this purchase will goto charity". Because when you add it all up the buyer is only actually saving 75p, you're tell someone they're saving 4 pounds when it's actually less than a quarter of that you're just gonna get peoples hopes up. Besides, most of the time you don't get fee'ed with paypal anymore since they changed all that, it would be easier to make the buyer pay the fees (if any) which is also available now, that way you don't have to worry about the buyers who'll have to pay fees and the buyers who won't as it'll be down to them to pay them if they have to.
